If you’ve ever had a difficult time coloring with colored pencils and getting a smooth finish, you may want to try watercolor pencils. In today’s post, I’ll be using the Art Advantage watercolor pencil set to color a pretty wreath of sunflowers and fall foliage.
Lately, I’ve been trying a lot of techniques with my Spectrum Noir Aqua markers. These markers are a great way to get a watercolor look if you’re not that comfortable with traditional water coloring with a brush and paint. One of the really fun techniques I tried was stamping with the markers using a layered stamp set. I really like Avery Elle’s Layered Rose set and wanted to see what these markers could do.
I recently discovered one of those fun paper crafting tools that I didn’t know I needed. It’s called the Totally Tiffany Heat Embossing Station, and it’s a huge help when you are embossing large backgrounds like on my project today.
Sending a card for no reason is one of the best ways to reach out to friends and family. This “groovy” greeting was easy to make using the dies from the Flowers & Fence stamp and die set from Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard.
