Summertime is coming soon along with lots of ice cream and popsicles. For today’s project, I grabbed my shimmery watercolors and some cute popsicle dies for a sherbet-y romantic greeting.
A cozy fall scene makes the perfect focal point on a greeting card. For today’s project, I was inspired by the little house tag in Carta Bella’s Fall Break ephemera pack and wanted that to be a part of my card. Since I was not doing any stamping, I wanted to add a stenciled layer and a leaf layer for the tag to rest on.

Every once in awhile our creative spark can disappear for whatever reason. You want to create something, but you just stare at that stamp set or paper pad and just can’t figure out what to do with it. This is where a sketch can come in handy. Sketches are pretty popular–there are even blog challenges that offer prizes when you create something using their sketch. I use sketches a lot and actually, when I create a card, I usually draw out a sketch to go with it so I can use it for another project later on.
