I’m a sucker for minimal design. I love a natural wood and simple lines. It can get a little boring in home decor, but small trinkets like this little pendant make a big impact to me. I love the juxtaposition of the hard plastic resin against a soft and natural wood. I added a tiny clay mountain in there for good measure.

Watercolor Inspiration
I love watercolor painting because it’s so versatile and so beautiful. You can have fun experimenting, or try to paint a scene. You can blend it, add resist to it, and so many other fun ideas. This is a great way to release some stress. There’s no wrong way to watercolor!
Watercolor and Glitter Painting
A little glitter can take a simple watercolor design to the next level. You can use it as an accent, or highlight certain areas of your creation.
Galaxy Star Dishes
I recently went to a good friend’s wedding that was so beautiful, I was totally inspired. They’re both aerospace engineers who work for a company that builds rocket ships, so there was a lot of space themed things going on. The tables were each named after constellations and the place markers were little star cookie cutters. I decided to make use of those cookie cutters and create these space themed jewelry dishes.
Crafts for Your Kitchen

My kitchen is about the size of my living room, and honestly, I love that. I really enjoy cooking dinner, baking, and making ice cream, so I get a ton of use out of it. With all of that space, comes room to stretch out and collect items for my kitchen that mean something to me. I love crafting, so it makes sens that I would love making things for my kitchen as well! Here are some of my favorites.
Painted Pour Over Coffee Maker
I’m a coffee addict who hates to use more precious beans than I need to, which is why I love this single serve pour over option. It makes a great cup of coffee exactly to my taste in no time. Most pour over brewers are a little drab, though, so I love the option to dress it up yourself!
Soap Making

Every once in a while, my mom and I get together and make soap using the cold process method. It’s very precise and would definitely be frustrating if I attempted it by myself, but I love making the soap as a team. If you’re not up to the complication and the chemicals, there is so much you can do with melt-and-pour soaps! Here are some great ideas.
Make some colorful soap that looks like a geode! It’s a super easy method that doesn’t require any special molds, just some plastic cups!
Snail’s Pace Belated Birthday Card
The last thing you want to do when you realize you’ve forgotten someone’s birthday is spend even longer creating a card for them. This cute card is so quick and easy to make. Who can be mad at this cute snail?
Make Your Own Clocks

I don’t know what it is about me, but I can’t be in a room that doesn’t have a clock. I can totally forget about it and get lost in whatever I’m doing if it’s there, but when I’m curious about the time, it’s all-consuming. That’s why I think I’ll need to make a few of these clock crafts. Making a clock is easier than you think!
I love this clock because it makes a huge statement, but it’s more about the art that surrounds those tiny clock hands rather than the time-keeper itself. I love the layers that you build up too.
