Craft Bloopers

Not all my projects see fruition.  Lots of times I’ll start on a project, sit on it for a while, and eventually move it over to an Abandoned folder I maintain on my computer.  Today I’m sharing three projects that flopped for one reason or another.

One project that I was anxious to try but quickly lost steam for was scented play dough.  I had intended to make different scents correspond with different colors (e.g. purple for lavender) but the recipe wasn’t that much different from what we normally do so shortly after snapping some photos of the ingredients, I lost interest in the project and never got around to making it.

DIY Hobnail Milk Glass Vase

I once had a white hobnail milk glass vase but it broke.  I’ve missed having one so much that I looked to see what I already had on hand to recreate one.

I used a glass vase, left over puffy paint and some white spray paint.  Since I wanted big dots, I cut the nozzle of the puffy paint off so the paint could come out faster.  If you’ve never used puffy paint before, I suggest trying it out on some paper to get a feel for it before starting on your vase.
