Question of the week: What is your favorite Holiday movie?
If the comment box is not below, scroll to the top and click “replies”.

My favorite holiday movie is The Santa Claus
Holiday in Handcuffs. It’s hilarious and a great example of how hard we try to have “perfect” holidays.
The Santa Claus.
My favorite holiday movie is “A Christmas Story.” It captures so very much of childhood in the 1940’s. This movie depicts what a wonderful time it was to be a child.
Favorite movie is the Original Miracle on 34th Street.
There have been several remakes of it, but the Original one is still the best!
It’s a Wonderful Life
A Christmas Proposal
Meet Me in St. Louis. I grew up just outside of St. Louis, and this movie aired late on Christmas Eve. We always had a family concert on Christmas Eve where we all sang or played instruments for each other. (I sang) Then we opened presents and then we watched Meet Me in St Louis. We did this every year.
It’s a Wonderful Life
No doubt about it…Elf! Have to watch it every year!
It’s A Wonderful Life is my favorite!
I don’t have a favorite. I love watching all the holiday romcoms!
I have three favorites, which form my Perfect Holiday Trifecta. We’re No Angels (1955), A Midwinter’s Tale (1995) and The Lion In Winter (1969). Barely a drop of traditional holiday sentimentality in the three combined, but I love them.
Oh oh, this is a tough one! I love a lot of the Christmas movies, but I think my favorite is Elf. I have such good memories of watching is with the kids and laughing while drinking our hot chocolate and eating cookies.
Our most favorite Christmas movie is “It’s a Wonderful Life”!
“We’re No Angels” with Humphrey Bogart, Aldo Ray and Peter Ustinov, Joan Bennett, and Basil Rathbone! It is delightful and funny!
Independence Day.
It’s not Christmasy, but it’s a holiday and I love Will Smith.
One of the earlier Scrooge movies, but have probably watched It’s a Wonderful Life & the original Miracle on 34th Street more.
It’s a Wonderful Life
Bad Santa. Too funny.
The Santa Clause
Home Alone, even though it probably wouldn’t be made into a movie if it were filmed today.
I think Elf is funny!
All versions of Christmas Carol
My favourite movie is “The Holiday”. I can watch it over and over.
Remember the Night, Holiday, It Happened on 5th Ave, Love Actually, and The Holiday.
White Christmas
I love Elf! Thank you!
It’s a Wonderful Life has always been my ultimate favorite. Since it is never on anymore I always watch The Santa Clause movies.
A Christmas Story! You’ll shoot your eye out!!!
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, classic!
It’s a Wonderful Life is so timeless!
“A Christmas Story” .
It’s a Wonderful Life!
