Happy Friday everyone! It’s beginning to feel like Winter here in Oregon and to celebrate our frosty morning, I thought this week I would give away this Riolis Snowflakes Christmas Ornaments Cross Stitch Kit. How fun do these look? Good luck!

This cross stitch kit from Riolis featuring 5 different blue and purple snowflakes with beaded accents. Kit contains 10 count plastic canvas, woolen / acrylic threads in 7 colors, color chart and needle. Finished sizes measure: 1 3/4 to 3 3/4 inch.

Every Friday we’ll post a giveaway on Think Crafts and all you have to do is comment on the blog post answering the question of the week. We’ll pick the winners and contact them via email. Deadline is midnight tonight and the winner will be announced Monday. One entry per person please.

Question of the week: Are you making any gifts for the holidays?

I will be designing and framing a section of our family tree for my sister. It will include her children, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. As her family grows, it is becoming hard to remember all the birthdays, etc.

I already made 100 homemade gift tags n homemade golden wooden ornament shapes as gift toppers. Homemade Xmas cards go out the day after Thanksgiving too! I LOVE to make homemade crafts for my family n friends every Xmas!

I’m making gift bags over 150 so far each person should get 3-4. Bags are all different sizes and made with Fabric I wonder undered an cut out all year then iron on the bag. Along with them made matching cards added some tissue paper and envelopes and gifts are tied with a ribbon and all ready to go. I retired in June and taking most of these into my co-workers kind of like my last goodbye.

I’m in the process of making clothesline bowls that have machine embroidery in the bottom for Christmas gifts. I love all kinds of arts and crafts, from drawing and painting to sewing and throwing pottery. Thank you for the opportunity to win craft products.

I am making very elaborate handmade Christmas cards for everyone. I am also going to make happy New Year cards.

I always make gifts and ornaments, but this year I am in process of moving and half of everything is packed. I’m lost without a project in my lap while watching those Christmas romcoms.

I thought about sewing matching pajamas for my family, but I already bought some knowing I’d probably never finish in time.

I don’t really make gifts, but I do make hand made cards that I send to all my family and friends. I know they all enjoy getting a handmade card every year.

  9. Darlene Holte

Yes, definitely. I know I will be customizing some sweatshirts along with making some ornaments. Haven’t figured out the rest yet.

I normally make gifts for the holidays, but this year time is scarce and I’m not sure I’ll be able to finish anything in time. These look like I’d be able to make them fairly quickly, though, so maybe all isn’t lost.

It seems that because of the economy, the only gifts anyone wants this year is Money. Cold, hard cash.

I’ve been informed that if I make that myself, I might get in trouble.

They will be getting handknit items instead.

If you can consider handmade Christmas Cards a gift, yes I am! LOL Besides that, I am sure I will be making a few things. I’m not doing what I just read others are doing but I will do some. After all, I am a crafter, right?
