Happy Pumpkin Spice week! Pumpkin spice everything is starting to show up everywhere and I couldn’t let this opportunity go by without joining in on the fun. This week I have The Great Big Pumpkin Cookbook Book to share with one lucky reader.

Pumpkin is not just for pie. You can now discover new ways to use your pumpkin, whether fresh or canned. From snacks and sides to breakfast and dinner, you’ll never get tired of the creative ways to use your pumpkin. Recipes include: pumpkin pie spice, overnight oats, snickerdoodles, pancakes, and more. 138 pages, hard cover.

Every Friday we’ll post a giveaway on Think Crafts and all you have to do is comment on the blog post answering the question of the week. We’ll pick the winners and contact them via email. Deadline is midnight tonight and the winner will be announced on Monday. One entry per person please.

Question of the week: What is your favorite “Fall” treat?

I love everything about Fall. The cooler weather. The colors and flavors. Cooking supper with comfort foods. I love that the family comes together for cozy evenings at home. I love that school begins (I am a teacher). I love to watch football games, my grandson is playing in one tonight. Autumn is my favorite season of the year!!

Homemade pumpkin pie, if someone else cooks it. If I (in desperate need) try to bake one, it is barely edible!

Most anything sweet. I am a chocoholic, but I also love most anything made with pumpkin with the exception of pumpkin pie.
