It’s Friday! I hope you all had an amazing week! This week I have a Rainbow set of Tulip ColorShot Fabric Spray Paint to give away! So enter now for your chance to win!

Tulip ColorShot Fabric Spray Paint is perfect for T-shirts, canvas shoes, tote bags and more. This is a permanent spray-on fabric paint, so no heat setting is required. This kit includes 6 – 3 ounce spray cans of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple spray paint that work on both natural and synthetic fabrics. These paints provide even coverage and dry quickly, allowing them to be used with stencils or on their own to fill an area. Non toxic.

Every Friday we’ll post a giveaway on Think Crafts and all you have to do is comment on the blog post answering the question of the week. We’ll pick the winners and contact them via email. Deadline is midnight tonight and the winner will be announced Monday. One entry per person please.

Question of the week: What’s something you’ve drawn inspiration from recently?

Get ideas from cards I receive from friends I find ways to make over their cards like cut out flowers and use them on a new card I hate that so many cards get trashed. My scrapbook pages I get from the pictures I use on a page also that sets my color scheme.

Nature! I am learning a, new to me technique, Collage Quilting. I look at fabrics very differently now. Small areas of an “ugly” fabric look beautiful when added with other fabrics to make a beautiful landscape collage quilt.

I’ve been inspired recently by a modern quilt display I saw. The vibrant colors and textures have inspired me to try and create similar items as paintings on canvas.

I had a lovely collection of daffodils this year and I have drawn inspiration for crafting from their brilliant colours and how they move in the breeze.

I have drawn inspiration from Pinterest, YouTube, and craft and sewing groups I am in. When I see what people have made it inspires me to try new things.

So here’s the thing. I just bought a shirt. Black and white line drawing, lots of kitties, poking their heads through the blinds. I was thinking “I should paint their eyes different colors.” And along comes Kimberley and ThinkCrafts, with just the set of paints I need. Karma? Yeah, I preeeeeety much thinks so!

I recently purchased a bunch of Orange colored summer tank tops and have “reversed” tie dyed them, orange is the color for anti gun violence. I love these fabric spray paints, that is what I like to do, is create awesome one of a kind shirts! Happy Safe Summer Everyone!!!

A new blast of creativity has been aroused in this past week as we have moved into our new crafting hall for our womens shed on the central coast in NSW Australia. Called Her Cave inc.

My inspiration came from a book, “Battlefield of the Mind.” Although it was not written for artists,, I was encouraged and inspired to get busy with my paints!
