Question of the week: What was the best thing that happened to you this past week?
The best thing that happened this week was watching my son’s 6th grade band concert on Tuesday. They worked so hard all year and did great on the concert.
The best that happened this week is that my son-in-law is finally starting to get better. He’s been in the hospital for nearly 2 weeks with pneumonia, been sedated. He was taken off most of the sedation meds yesterday and has started to move his arms and legs. He expresses his feelings with his eyes. He is still on a ventilator but hopefully will be off of that tomorrow. Still a long road ahead of him.
My Nephews wedding tonight. And for me as many medical conditions I have I made it to age 61 yesterday. So I’m very happy never thought I would make it to 60. So a very good week.
I found out I was going to be a grandmother again!
I get to go away for the weekend with my husband. It’s going to be a rainy weekend but going to make the best of it. It’s been long awaited.
The best thing that happened this week was finishing a project that somehow kept going to the bottom of the “please finish me” pile. It turned out great! Better than I hoped for! Why didn’t I get to this earlier?

My daughter came home from Oregon to visit! She wasn’t able to come for the holidays last year so it has been over a year since I’ve seen her. So nice to finally give her a big hug in person!

I completed a major project I’ve been wanting to do for a few years now, it took me 60 hours to complete but looks better than I imagined it would,

I bought a couple of sports bras. I’m getting back into fitness.
My youngest Daughter is pregnant!!! AND I {we} got to hear the baby’s heartbeat for the first time!
Hmmmm…. That’s not ease. I guess reading and finishing my Mom’s story album scrapbook. Now just have to figure out how to tie it together because it’s so thick.

Best thing that happened this week was getting to go out to lunch with my hubby to one of our favorite restaurants!
Friendships are golden. I drove 2000 miles to spend time with my friend of 47 years. We stayed up until 430 am yacking our heads off! To have a friend that long is a blessing.
We helped my daughter buy her first home and the closing was Monday.
The best thing that happened to me this week is finding out my son is going to get to come home on Mother’s Day!! Happy Mama!!
This week I was happy that I was able to put in my perennials. I bought them and hardened them off and I am pleased to see them starting to grow.

I had my week brightened up by a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I was not expecting them so it was such a nice surprise.
The best thing that happened to me this week was being able to pick fresh strawberries from my strawberry patch, and eat them for dessert.
Found out my mom’s cancer is gone!
The beat thing that happened to me this week is my cousin came for a visit. We live in CT where she used to live & she lives in FL so it was nice to see her. We got to have dinner out twice this week & we went to Elizabeth Park to see the tulip gardens which were beautiful! Also, it didn’t rain until we got back home which was very good.
The delivery company put my package in a plastic bag – it was raining. They haven’t been doing that lately and I’ve had 4 packages soaked clear thru.
The best thing that happened to me this week was I was on vacation!! My husband and I went to South Carolina…I got to see Myrtle Beach, Patriots Point (a Naval aircraft carrier and a battleship), and my nephew graduate boot camp. HOOAH!

Well the best thing that happened to me is, well you never should assume things that r being said against your partner of 25 years. I hate to admit that i couldn’t imagine a person would start a rumor on another person just to start trouble on them. But i beat all odds i didn’t feed into the rumor but in stead what i did was i went to God and prayed for there sins. Its better to forgive an let it be in Gods hand. I am sorry for there soul but i hold nothing against them.
