Happy  Friday, everyone! We have a fabulous and fun prize to give away this week, so let’s get right to it! This week’s winner will receive a Solid Oak Make-rame Beaded Chandelier Macrame Kit!

Basic macrame knots and lots of natural wood beads are combined in this beautiful decoration! It’s easier to make than you might think, with Solid Oak’s signature, excellent instructions. Sturdy, goldtone metal ring gives stability to this hanging. Beautiful as made from the kit, this piece can also be customized to your liking. Consider painting or dyeing the beads to match your décor! It is lovely alone as an accent piece, but could also be used to hold a bowl of fruit or a plant – or even a stash of plush toys.

Every Friday we’ll post a giveaway on Think Crafts and all you have to do is comment on the blog post answering the question of the week. We’ll pick the winner and contact them via email. Deadline is midnight tonight and the winner will be announced Monday. One entry per person please.

Question of week: Do you craft on the go, or just at home?

Sometimes on the go. My parents are elderly in another state. Once in a while I would take a craft project to them for us to do as a group project. My mom passed away in March so I will miss doing this with her. This first Mother’s Day in May will be hard without her.

On the go and at home because I love scrapbooking with my girlfriends. We have a group that meets every 1st Saturday of the month for the last 17 years we call ourselves Saturday Sisters and some of us quilt and others knit and others paint but we have a good time. It is getting harder as we get older getting together because of the amount of stuff we carry back and forth but we love sometimes just the friendship.

When with the kids on the go and traveling; then definitely is a must.
When at home, it helps build patience and quiet time for us.

I craft mostly at home but I do enjoy crafting on the go and have been known to do so while traveling.

I just craft at home. I seem to like having all my supplies around me and then I feel inspired.

  6. Darlene Holte

I craft mostly at home, but have been known to bring my projects along to family reunions or when travelling.

I use too before i began losing the use of my hands but now I mostly craft at home. When we go camping or on a trip, I’m always picking up sticks and pretty rocks to use in my crafting.

I craft both. At home I make baby shower gifts, such as diaper cakes, flower arrangements, wreathes for doors as well as painting. On the go I take my needle work such as cross stitching and knitting. I love to make blankets out of the loop yarn.

  9. Mary Mac

I mostly craft at home bur will bring a small cross stitch piece to work on when traveling.

I usually try and have a hand work project for when I go and visit anyone – need to keep my hands busy. If I go for a visit, I have a huge hexagon project for working on now…..just finished one for my granddaughter and need to finish the one for her mother next (I told them they would receive them together so no fighting over whose got done first~!!!)

I craft on the go and at home. I take my stitching with me. I usually have quite a bit of projects going at a time.

usually at home as my crafts usually require me to use a flat surface. Sometimes I can take my supplies on the go in a zip lock bag.

I just craft at home mostly except when I go visit my grandchildren. They enjoy learning crafts and sewing. I am happy to share my favorite hobbies with them.

Used to go several different places for crafting, but since covid & other health issues, it has just been at home.

I usually craft at home, makes it easier. Occasionally, I am able to take something easy to do along the way or at my destination. Everyone have a good weekend!

I don’t travel anywhere so I only craft at home. Even when I craft with someone else they always come to my house because I’m better equipped for crafting projects, I guess.
