    Pumpkin pie.
Brown, squishy, mushy, and creepily sweet.
I am a chemist and pumpkin pie also resembles
some unpleasant bodily excretions…. Enough said.

Green bean casserole. It’s like someone just threw together random canned food in a baking pan and called it casserole!

  3. Randi

Sweet potato casserole – yuck! I like my yams/sweet potatoes with butter and salt, not sugar. They’re vegetables, not candy!

  4. Sharyn Howard

Cranberry sauce. In a can no less. I never understood what it was used for, but it had to be on the table. I guess, so the one person who eats it will be happy. I don’t like it myself, so it could be left out of our Thanksgiving and Christmas spread. Thanks for listening.

I would have to say fruit cake! Why do people still make it? I don’t love that, but I tend to love everything else, unfortunately.

Green bean casserole. No matter how you try to dress this dish up, it’s still Green Bean casserole. YUCK!

The one food that could be left off my table now until forever is green bean casserole. If it was made from fresh green beans a cream sauce and some fresh little fried onions that would be one thing but not this canned mushroom soup, canned green beans and canned onions.

Turkey breast. For those who don’t like cranberry sauce, or sweet potato/yams with marshmallow, or green bean casserole – they are the only way to make turkey white meat edible. It needs the extra moisture of the canned soup in the casserole, and the extra flavor of the cranberries and marshmallows. The only way to deal with the white meat is to bury it DEEP under a pile of the others and pretend it isn’t there. Then clean you palate with a big hunka stuffin.

For those who don’t like rock hard fruitcake – it’s just there to make the white meat seem moister by comparison. But it just seems moister, it isn’t really.

Green bean casserole made with canned beans and cream soup! A runner up is fruitcake….I only buy it if it is a school fund raiser.

I pretty much like everything but if I have to pick something, it would be the green bean casserole. Only because I don’t like the onions on it. I love green beans and mushroom soup so if it’s made without the onions, I’d probably like it. lol Also, nothing is good if you aren’t sharing it with your family and friends! I hope everyone is able to do that this Christmas! Merry Christmas everyone! Stay safe!

Stuffing that is cooked inside the turkey. It is too mushy. And please don’t add the giblets to it or too much sage.

I need help making bows. This would be great to win. My family eats some pretty awful Hungarian food made with pigs feet. Not only does it look bad but the smell when its cooking with make you move to Ohio.

I love making and enjoying all Holiday foods. However, of all foods for the Holidays i would say that FRUIT CAKE could be one of my least favorites. It all depends which recipe it comes from…..and who makes it! HAPPY & SAFE HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!!

Dressing. I love stuffing, but the people who choose to make dressing with the innards…well, they’re just not my tribe. Give me the herbed bread cubes instead.

I had to think about this a little while, and I can’t think of what my least favorite holliday food is. I don’t care for gingerbread, so I guess that’s my answer.

  16. Cindy D

My least favorite holiday food is mashed potatoes. They aren’t holiday. They are everyday. I wish I could delete it from our menu. :-

  17. Ms. Tamp

I would say that fruit cake is my least favorite. It really depends on how it’s made because I’ve had some great experiences, but mostly, they are not that good.

  18. Mary

I would say fruit cake, although we would have a grab bag game and one of the gifts was always a fruit cake, which was sort of a funny joke.

  19. Dianne G.

Oysters are the worst! Every year my dad and brothers would get them over the holidays and serve them on crackers. I could not even stand the smell and still can’t. I would usually go for a long walk as soon as I saw them coming to the snack table.

  20. Gail Plaskiewicz

Anything with pumpkin. My friend makes & sells flavored pumpkin seeds without the outer shell & I love them! When I was a kid, I just sucked the slat off of them & threw the rest away. I like her’s better but it’s. the only part of the pumpkin I like. My mom has a whole pumpkin pie all to herself. Have at it mom! LOL Oh yeah & sweet potatoes. I just don’t like them at all.

  21. Judy K.

No items I dislike that much. Some I don’t want forever—turkey would be the one meat I eat and give away half the leftovers… It’s a bland meat…

  22. Cynthia Marrs

Sickenly sweet candied yams with nasty marshmallows. And citron fruitcake. Both should be abolished. 🙂
