Lov this site, I love to travel to my Craft room, as I zoom away to the world of crafts I can leave the stress of everyday life behind! I can go anywhere my mind takes me, without leaving home… leaves more time and money for crafting too. LOL

Hawaii not much different than California where I live but my Grandparents retired there in 1982 and every year we go back because all us kids like going there it reminds of of our family.

  3. Pam Patterson

On any clear lake in Arkansas, Oklahoma or Texas. All my great childhood memories are with my family at Big, Long Lake in Indiana. Can’t get there anymore, but any pretty lake sure reminds me of those times.

We love taking the RV and going to Cades Cove in Tennessee.
The Cove is part of the Great Smoky Mountains.

My favorite place is Las Vegas. Where else can you experience great shows, fantastic food and beautiful scenery all in one location. I live in a town of 100 people so the bright lights and glitzy glamour are a world away from my everyday life. After three days I’m ready to return to my quiet, safe paradise I call home.

Starting a new crafting project is like going on a mini vacation to me! I love the start of the project, the planning, the actual creation and then enjoying what I made later. I prefer to do that versus going somewhere.

I haven’t been on a vacation since my hubby of 52 years passed 6 years ago, but I like spending time in and around my pool with my family. That’s my dream vacation. God bless.

    Great prize!
Disneyland is my favorite spot. I am just happy to be there whenever I go! The sights, sounds, everything about it. Just to sit on a bench and enjoy the ambiance is all I need. Many special memories from my childhood are from being at the park, since I went there a couple of times each year.

Right now with the pandemic, St George UT is our favorite. There we are close to National Parks, swimming, gorgeous hikes and fabulous outdoor theater, not to mention it is only 4 hours away. It has been a life saver, allowing us to getaway and feel like things in the world are more normal than they are.

Being retired, I love to vacation in the winter to Florida. I get out of the cold, dreary winters and head to The Sunshine State. The sin warms me and makes me happy.

A bluff overlooking the Badlands called Buffalo Gap National Grasslands. A small table and chair with craft of the day watching the pronghorn.

Wow! this is hard for me, I usually love going anywhere.
Las Vegas is a jumping place with lots to see and do!

I haven’t been on many vacations, so I have places I *think* might be my favorite once I get the chance. So far though, probably Fredericksburg, TX.

When we were a very young family, we didn’t have much money for vacations. We had 3 young boys at the time, so 4-5 hours in the car was about our limit. We took to driving up to Mammoth, CA in June, the off-season. We hiked and explored the town, played mini-golf in a mini-mall, and swam in the motel pool. It was our thing for a few years, and the boys still remember it fondly.

My favorite vacation place is Cape Coral, Florida, where I go every January to visit my daughter and her family!

  16. Kelly OBrien

No specific place as we like to explore. There are so many places with such different things to offer! Of course, this was pre-pandemic when you didn’t have to consider how interacting with others and chatting with the locals might affect you.

I love going to Disneyland for vacation but I also enjoy going to the mountains. It depends if I need a rest or want to have fun and be entertained.

Little cabin in the woods, no internet or phone service. Next to the South Fork of the Payette River in Idaho.

My husband & I went to the U.S. owned Virgin Islands to a resort! We were treated like royalty. Since we aren’t able to go back – I’d LOVE to win a crafty surprise. 🙂

  23. Jean V.

Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountains (or any Mountains for that matter!) I love the beauty of nature God has created when you are in the mountains and can just look out over His awesome creation.

  24. Deborah Warren

Anywhere on the Olympic peninsula in Washington state, whether it be in the rainforest, the beaches along the Pacific shoreline, hiking in one of the old-growth forests, watching storms roll in sitting on the docks at Lake Crescent, whale-watching in the Strait of Juan de Fuca, or walking along one of the beaches on the Puget Sound side. Any season of the year is a perfect time to spend meditating and communing with nature.

there’s no place else than sitting on the lava ledge overlooking the ocean & napali coastline in hanalei, kauai.

  26. Rose

The outer banks is the best. The ocean is awesome. Fishing on the sound and telling tales of the Outer banks at night sitting in the dunes.

  27. Karen Mendenhall

My favorite vacation spot is in the path of the Moon’s shadow, wherever that may be!
(I am what’s called a “Total Solar Eclipse Chaser”, so wherever in the world the next Total Solar Eclipse is visible, that is my next, and Favorite Vacation Spot. 🙂

  28. Cindy

My favorite vacation spot is Wisconsin Dells, WI. I enjoy taking my 16, 18, an 22 year old granddaughters there for summer vacation!! They especially love the water parks. I may spend a lot of money, but it’s worth seeing them have fun. I also enjoy the close relationship we have and the smiles on their faces are priceless!!
