Make some magically cute mushrooms to use in your crafting, with this simple project.
Here’s what you need to make your own:
- Chenille Stems – 12 in. x 6 mm – White
- Acorn Caps
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- White Acrylic Paint
- Red Acrylic Paint
- Paint Brushes
To begin, take one chenille stem and cut it in half.
Take one of the halves, and bend it into an “L” shape.
Begin wrapping the longer, vertical leg of the “L” around the top of the shorter leg.
Wrap the whole leg around until you have a little umbrella shape.
Fill the acorn cap with hot glue.
Carefully push the chenille stem circle up into the inside of the acorn cap, and into the glue. Ta-da! Tiny mushrooms!
Make a bunch of tiny mushrooms!
Paint the tops of the acorn caps red. Let dry.
Paint white spots on the caps. Let dry.
Now use your cute little mushrooms in your crafting! I glued mine onto a small wreath and make a surround for a candle.
Happy Crafting!

Love the mushrooms.
