No scary movies for me ever. I don’t like any of them. I like cute Halloween like Casper the friendly Ghost

  2. Curtrice Hertlein

The movie that scared me the most as a child back in the 70’s was the one named “It’s Alive !” When I saw that movie at the theater, it more or less “ruined” all other scary movies for me. Since seeing it, no other movie has ever really scared me so much ! “Omen” is a sure-fire runner-up with me, though ! Then there’s the one named “Sybil !” Can’t really choose a favorite one – must say those three are favorites of mine.

I love all things horror!! I grew up with the Michael Myers, Freddy and Jason!! My fave horror movie is a tie between The Shining and Misery.

  4. Andrew C

I’m most frightened by documentaries about how the environment is being ruined, the economy hijacked, the food chain perverted, etc. etc. etc. These are the things that will really impact my life negatively, in a way that no Freddy or Jason could.

I am not a scary movie person, but I did see Carrie when I was a teenager…. did not like it! I like Jurassic park though! Thank you for the fun giveaway!

  6. Marissa M.

Generally, I’m not a fan of scary movies, but I always liked the Chucky movies. Creepy lil’ dude!

  7. CAROL L

The Exorcist. After seeing this movie I had nightmares for months. Not a fan of scary movies.

  8. Amanda

My favorite scary movie of all time is Scream, but I also really enjoy A Quiet Place (one and two)!

  9. Maria Shehan

Love old black and white movies like the bride of Frankenstein. Today’s scary movies have sex, drugs, curse word and no story line.

  10. Lynne Q

I am not a scary movie fan. However one movie that really scared me was The Silence of the Lambs. I usually like to stick with movies that make me laugh or feel good. The world is scary enough as it is!

  11. Janet M

I really can’t watch scary movies, so I will go with Caspar the Ghost which was just right for me.

  12. Lee Fisher

I’m more of a “Thriller” than “Killer” type so I’ll go with The Others starring Nicole Kidman….spooky. 😉

  13. Betty

I don’t like scary movies. However, “Wait Until Dark,” starring Audrey Hepburn, is one I have watched several times. There is one moment in that movie that always makes me scream, even though I know it is about to happen. If I were to watch it right now, I would scream and nearly jump out of my skin at that moment!

  14. Vivian Oaks

I don’t like horror movies, but do remember not liking “The Bad Seed” and Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds” on TV as a child. I stay as far away from horror movies as I can now.

  15. Dianne

The television movie “Crow Haven’s Farm” starring Paul Burke. I was a big fan of his, watching Twelve O’ Clock High as a child.

  16. Tanis Gall

Alfred Hitchcock’s Birds. As a rule I don’t usually watch scary movies, but will always remember “The Birds” as I am a little frightened of birds anyway.

  17. Judy

I don’t like scary movies! There’s so many other good movies to watch, rather than being scared the begeebees out of, for no reason.

  18. Carmen

I don’t like scary movies. I figure there’s enough horror in the real world, I don’t need to see pretend horror on the screen.

  19. Ginny Metz

Probably the paranormal activity movies but I don’t know that I would call scary movies a favorite. I enjoy watching them but don’t usually go back and watch them over and over

  20. Cheryl Colchin

The more light-hearted of the darker (scary) movies like, Young Frankenstein or even the TV series (oldies) like: The Addam’s Family and The Munsters.

  21. Donnalynn Lawton

The original Poltergeist movie .It was scary but cool too. I love the actors as well

  22. Cath T

Not much of a fan of scary movies (the news is enough to scare me), so not much to choose from. But I did watch Parasite, which at least mixes some humor with the violence. Hmm, maybe more of an ongoing sense of impending peril than outright scary scenes, though I had to cover my eyes multiple times. An astoundingly well done movie. Interesting contrast with mild markers, which look lovely, btw.

  23. Dianne G.

I am not a fan of scary movies. Nightmare Before Christmas is my type of scary movie if you could even classify it as that.

  24. Lisha

Ring is my favorite scary movie because of everyone’s reaction to their phone ringing immediately after watching it!

  25. Marlay Rich

I don’t like scary movies and so I don’t watch them that much. My favorite at one time in my life was the Scream series.
