Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous week! I am so excited about this weeks prize because it is something I recently got for myself and LOVE! This week I have a set of these Zebra Zensations Colored Pencils for one lucky crafter!!

Experience smooth, rich, vibrant color. The triangular barrel provides control while coloring or sketching and won’t fall off your desk. The 2.0 mm lead is durable and long lasting. Brilliant colors blend easily and can be used for shading and color mixtures. Never needs sharpening. No need to discard the barrel, just the lead. Colors include: greens, pinks, purples, blues, neutrals, and more.

Every Friday we’ll post a giveaway on Think Crafts and all you have to do is comment on the blog post answering the question of the week. We’ll pick the winners and contact them via email. Deadline is midnight tonight and the winner will be announced Monday. One entry per person please.

Question of the week: What’s the most useful item you’ve purchased this year?

A corner rounder punch! I’ve been lost without it…can’t wait for the new ones to arrive!

  2. Tammy Warren

A new kind of needle threader … the ladies in the prayer quilt ministry love it!

  3. Dawn Haddad

The Tim Holtz Tonic Trimmer! LOVE the crisp cuts! I waited WAAAAYYYY to long to purchase this item LOL.

It may not sound craft related, but it’s actually a vital part of the crafting process. When my coffee maker broke after 40 years of faithful service, I spent a week in daze until my new one arrived. Without coffee, nothing gets done, crafting or otherwise.

I’d have to say the most useful thing I’ve purchased lately would be items we use in our RV

  6. Denise Bryant

These colored pencils look really fun!
I bought a basic set of rectangle dies that I am using a lot for cardmaking!

New roof to keep my crafting supplies all nice and not soggy.
After financing my roof and losing my job in January living off savings I have not had funds to spend on crafts but I’m relearning to use my stock pile no Idea I had so much 12 x 12 paper.

  8. Mary Mac

A crate that fits perfectly in the back of my car for all my shopping needs. Keeps things from rolling around and I don’t need bags.

I bought a diffuser earlier this year and find it so useful for using essential oils throughout the day.

  10. Dianne

Felt ornament kits. I’m really into making retro Christmas decorations like my mom made when I was young.

My laptop has been my most useful purchase. It has kept me in touch with family who I have not been able to see in person.

A tiny lady bug vacuum was a very useful purchase made by my niece and given to me! I first loved it because it is so cute sitting around. Now, I keep it in the kitchen, where I use it daily. It tends to migrate to the art room whenever I cut out small items or use glitter. It is a small bug, but it does a great job!

Surebonder Professional Glue Skillet. When making floral arrangements for any occasion.
Just dip you item in the glue & put in place no trying to hold the flowers and the glue gun.
This has really saved me a lot of time over the past few weeks.

A fabric rotary cutter, actually 2! I have been sewing since I was a middle schooler, and that’s many years. Have seen rotary cutters advertised, but thought I have scissors why do I need that. I haven’t been sewing much over the years. During pandemic I started making masks and then recently set my sewing machine up in a spare basement room rather than setting it up on dining room table. Well – I finally decided to order a rotary cutter set., then took on project of recovering counter stools. Wow what a difference using the rotary cutter. It made the task much easier. I then ordered an additional cutter in a different size.

I bought a tablet for myself. I was jealous of my daughter :). I’m able to do more on the go – plus, it makes it easer to read at night.

  16. Maria Shehan

I bought a Scoring-board. I just don’t use it for making cards but I use it for scrapbooking and making other crafts.

  17. Kelly OBrien

Silicon tray that is portioned into 1 cup sections. It’s so easy to make a big batch of soup or stew and freeze a portion in easy to measure blocks to thaw out later. And it can be used for other projects, too, so I have a set for cooking and another for crafty things.

  18. Katie

My wheelchair! I can go out again, as long as a friend is willing to push me, and they are! It’s the best!

  19. Donnalynn Lawton

the most useful thing I’ve bought this year are the vacuum shrink bags for stoage in my linen closet

  20. Laura

A really awesome stainless steel water bottle, it’s been a life saver as the weather is getting warmer. Even out in the 117 weather the water is still cold a few hours later with NO ice added.

  21. Gail Plaskiewicz

My brand new MAC laptop! I spilled a tiny bit of water on my old laptop which was about 5 years old & even putting it in a bag of rice for a week didn’t help. The S & the N keys didn’t work either & you have no idea how important those are when you don’t have them. Without my brand new computer I couldn’t enter this contest! I am a colorist who would love to win those pencils!

  22. Robin

I am working from home and bought a “Floor Chair Mat” and I am really loving it. It makes your chair easier to move around and not wear on the carpet.

  23. Karen

Layered Stencils to make a focal point on cards. I didn’t know they existed before seeing a YouTube video. My cardmaking is forever changed!

  24. Cindy

The most useful item I have purchased this year is a new Bernina sewing/embroidery machine. It is fantastic. I am 69 yo and I have been sewing since I was 8!

I bought a Grammercy cart for my tools…glue, cutter blades, clamps, paper towels, all handy now, and can be put by my side when I am crafting without taking up space on my work table. It’s wonderful
