My favorite outside activity currently is meeting up with our 1, 3 and 5 year old grandbabies at the beach.!! The three and their Mama light up the world with their smiles. It is so amazing to have them come running and jump into big embraces of hugs. The morning sun shining on their faces radiating the joy of excitement and irresistible love. I’m spellbound giving thanks for these little blessings. Love, love love!

In warm weather, it’s just being in the sun. In cold weather, I only go outdoors if I’ve got a nearby indoors location that I’ve got to get to. Like the yarn shop. Or the fabric shop. Or the bead shop. Or …

My favorite outdoor activity is camping or picnicking with my family, including all of the outdoor games we play on those outings — horseshoes, cornhole, bocce, croquet…

My very favorite thing I like to do is sit and read a book on my lanai and catch a few rays of sunshine which is always easy to do here in Florida.

As a kid my family went boating every weekend during the summer. But now I’m in my 70’s just sitting in A chair enjoying the day outside. I also love camping.

Lately, it’s been gardening. I’m trying to get outdoor projects done before the weather gets unbearably hot.

One of my favorite things to do is setting on the porch in the evening after playing in the gardens

I love gathering flowers to take back inside to make flower arrangements to bring the outside into my home. Of course, I like growing those flowers, too.

We raise goats and donkeys and I love watching the baby animals play and experiment to see what their new bodies can do. You can almost hear them exclaim, “Wee! Look at me!”

my favorite outdoor activity is tent camping.I used to go all the time taking my Girl Scout troop camping. The kids did everything and I mostly supervised. And we all had a great weekend. Kids didn’t want to home.

My favorite outdoor activity is going to the local bird sanctuary. It is not only a home to many bird species but also if you are lucky you will spot some of the animals that also call it home.

Honestly, just being still. Whether watching whatever wildlife is around, feeling the wind, hearing the noises Nature makes, letting the sun soak in and warm me, or laying back in soft grass to see what I can make of the clouds…it’s where I find my peace.

Taking photos of everything: flowers, bees, birds. I just like hanging out in my yard and taking pictures of whatever catches my eye.

I enjoy pulling weeds in the yard or in our garden railroad. It’s like sewing–it’s soothing and when you’re done, you can take pride in what you’ve created!

Reading & relaxing (maybe even napping) under the shade of a big tree. To feel the roots reaching into the earth makes me feel like I’m a part of all the ancient essence that is there.
