I would build my dream home somewhere far out away from neighbors being right on top of each other. I would want a babbling brook running near the house so you could hear the calming effects of the noise that will relax you so you feel like creating a master piece!

  2. Sara

I would magically find several lots in the middle of my city to have a giant garden, but also be close to all the interesting and fun stuff.

  3. olga

Its not where my dream home is, its the space in my dream home. if i had to choose where, it would be somewhere quiet beautiful with gentle animals but not too far from the hustle and bustle of life.

please enter me for free friday give-a-way tool kit
on a rocky beach not to far from a big city

  5. Mika

On the edge of a bluff over looking the forest with miles and miles between me and anyone else!

  6. Andrew Caro

Well, since it IS a dream house, I would gather all my friends and build a castle/village/mall on the rings of Saturn, complete with a yarn store, bead store, fabric store, art supply store, gourmet shops, acres of gardens and woods with a big lake for swimming and lots of wildlife. Oh yeah, a REALLY good heating system. I hear it’s cold out there.

  7. Melanie

In the mountains where I can’t see anyone but not far from a metropolis. Is that too much to ask for? 🙂

  8. Deborah Lang

My dream home would be built in Belize on the beach to enjoy the beautiful blue water and tropical breeze.

  9. Carmen

My dream home would be in a rural area – partly wooded and part grasses/farmland, probably in my home state.

  10. Darla Maynard

I would build a house where I am now but with lots of room to have others to visit or come and live with me. I would like rooms for gathering, cooking, playroom for the children and workrooms for the adults interests plus room to take in lots of animals with lots of land to spread out in.

  11. Janet M

I would build it overlooking a beach on the Atlantic ocean with a path leading to beach.

  12. Lynne Q

I would like it in an area with lots of green grass and trees and a stream running nearby, but still close enough to a city so we could go to the movies and restaurants, museums…

  13. Linda Bee

Reading the comments were so much fun. Seems like some are happy to be right where they are. My dream home would be in northern Florida where it is warmer and you can see lots of green grass, trees, good water and a beautiful view. I want 200 or more acres and someone who will take care of all the property. Once I find the right spot, I can begin to dream of the home I would put on the property.

I would like My dream house to be where it is not too hot. Just sitting on My front porch watching the Birds and the trees blowing in the soft breeze.

  15. Susan Webb

I love ocean, forrest, and Mountain View’s so my dream home would have to be mobile with enough room for quilting and crafting.

  16. Krisitne S

In the mountains but within an hours drive (at most) to family … which really is a dream since my family is living in about 6 different states, spread from “sea to shining sea”.

  17. Gail MacNamara

My Dream Home would be where ever my daughter, my wonderful Son-in-law and my three beautiful Grand children, ages 5 yrs. and twins 2 yrs of age live! The twins were born on my birthday in Nov. and we have been unable to visit with them in Southern Ontario only twice since their birth, due to the Virus and the many shut downs. My husband and I are seniors and we love the Sun and warm weather, however travelling is out of our reach now, so if they were to live in Alaska or Florida that is where OUR “MY DREAM HOME” would be!

I would build my dream house close to the mountains in a small town. It would have lots of bedrooms so all my children and grandchildren could come and visit at the same time. How happy that would make me!

  19. Denise Bryant

Awesome tool kit! I’d love to have this!
I have always felt like the central coast of California was ‘home’, so I would build a dream house there! I moved up to northern CA in 1993, but the central coast has always been home!

  20. Susan P.

I would build my dream home in New Zealand with a separate building for a pottery studio on land suitable for a big garden.

  21. Shelly Rollins

One the coast right here in Washington state. With an art studio, ample gardens and lots of room for critters and guest cottage for friends and family.

  22. Katie Amodio

That’s a hard one. I love the beach and have always wanted to live by the ocean, but my daughter seems to be making her home in the mountains of Montana so the future may be there. May I have two, please? Ocean and mountains? Either one, it would be with accessible safe clean swimmable water surrounded by nature with easy access to excellent organic groceries and medical care, as well as craft supplies, of course!

  23. Kelly OBrien

I’d build my dream home right where I am, but in an alternate universe where scorpions don’t live there, too.

  24. Kara

My dream house would be on a minimum of 20 acres plus. Out in the country by a stream lots of trees in the middle of nowhere.

  25. Renee

Although I have a very nice house, I do miss being nearer to family. I have
not been able to visit my family for over a year due to Covid. I’d like to pick up my house and farm and move closer.

  26. Rebecca Donaldson

I would build it in a town in close proximity of all my favorite shops and have access to food deliveries and doctors and a fairly large population. But it would also be within 25 minutes of a lagoon and waterfall! If anyone finds that place, let me know!

I would build my dream home near the sounds of the ocean and amidst the scent of lilacs.

  28. Ann Aronson

The north shore of Lake Superior would be my ideal location for a dream home, where
the wonderful sound of the waves against the rocks can be heard.

  29. Judy K

I would build my dream home in a valley with streams, trees and some wildlife nearby — but within driving distance of civilization. I still like people.

  30. Gail Plaskiewicz

A dream home, huh? Somewhere with a beautiful view, like of a lake or pond. Lots of light for crafts & enough land to have a beautiful garden of plants & veggies & no deer or critters like the mutant ninja squirrels in our yard right now to dig everything up & ruin it. Oh yeah, trees, lots of trees.

  31. Debbie Fredricks

My dream home is located exactly where I live right now. Our home was built in 1957 and had little updating. With some beautiful updates and a few more square feet it would absolutely be my dream home.

  32. Karen L Berkeley

My dream home I always wanted it to be in Hawaii, but I realized that I just want it to be where I’ve always lived in the city of Whittier California. It’s the perfect place, it has a lot of trees and Greenery, people are so nice, it’s peaceful and feels like home! I always want to stay here I love it!

  33. Susan Moseley

I think a nice place to have my dream home would be somewhere in California, or Hawaii, not too far from the beach. I love a warm climate and the water, but I’d also like a pool at my house with a deck and a hot tub.

  34. Robin

San Diego, I love it there! The scenery is beautiful and the weather is the best all year long!!!
