    Thank you. Donna

My favorite meal to cook is spaghetti and meatballs. Everyone loves it along with freshly made garlic toast from scratch. And the house smells yummy!

  3. Randi

My favorite meal to cook? Probably roast beef in the crockpot.
It’s not my favorite meal to EAT, but it’s an easy meal to cook.

  4. Sherry Mullins

My favorite meal to make is meatloaf, because we all love it, but we love it even more the next day as a meatloaf sandwich!!! …the meal that keeps on giving!

Meatloaf in the winter, as it is warm and cozy. And Chef Salad in the summer, as it is refreshing.

  6. Luanne

We love family and have sooo many favorites. Pizza, spaghetti, roast beef, ribs, chicken, fish, etc. Most are cooked in the crock pot but I think the dish with the most requests is my husband’s BBQ ribs.

  7. Laure Ulichney

My favorite meal to cook is Corned Beef and Cabbage. We have this not just on St Patrick’s Day, but several other times of year to celebrate family and our Irish heritage! I love the smell of it simmering in the pot all day, along with Irish Soda Bread! I cant wait for dinner, and for the family to come over!

  8. Mary Roszell

Thanksgiving, I generally don’t like to cook. But I love to bake. The turkey goes in the roaster. The dressings (I make 2 different kinds) get baked in casserole dishes. Usually my kids will bring other side dishes. Oh the pies, yummy, at least 3 kinds.
Then the kids and grandkids come. I love Thanksgiving

  9. Laura Connaway

We are ranchers so our favorite is a nice open-flame kissed steak on the outdoor pit with a side of twice baked potatoes. And of course chocolate meringue pie for dessert!

  10. Leanne Travers

I love to cook lasagna. It’s my favorite meal and my family loves it and requests it when they visit.

  11. jo

I love cooking meals for those in need–whether it is for a charity fund raiser, death, or illness. My favorite meal to fix is chicken and dumplings.

  12. Christy Warner

It depends on the occasion! I love when I gave the time to make chicken cordon bleu, simply because it is delicious!!

  13. Sandy smith

Love to cook what we call “stuff”. It consists of scrambled eggs and anything that is left over in the refrigerator adding onion, green pepper mushrooms (fresh are the bomb!) Topped with grated cheese and salsa. Serve with a side of butter grits. Good enough to slap your momma! Good for any meal. Comfort food!! Southern tradition at least in my family.

  14. Marissa M.

I really don’t like to cook! So I think “takeout” would be my answer. If I HAD to choose, I do make a good grilled cheese 😉

  15. Judy

My favorite meal to cook is breakfast.
Sometimes it’s what our grands request for dinner when they visit!

  16. CAROL L.

  17. Christine

I have a cookbook that I decided to cook every meal from (there are about fifty). I’m about halfway through. One of my favorites currently is a potroast that is cooked with Shiraz and asian barbecue sauce. It’s so delicious!

  18. Hannah C

My favorite meal to make is BBQ shredded chicken sliders! Everyone loves them, and it always reminds me of summer!

  19. Makalah

My partner does all the cooking, so anything I cook is to give him a break and therefore my favorite.

  20. Emily

My favorite meal to cook is a duplicate recipe for one of Olive Garden’s soups. My other half tells me that it’s better than the restaurant’s.

  21. Dave

One of my favorites is Jambalaya, it takes a little longer to make than simpler things, but my daughter likes it.

  22. Celeste Helmick

Three reasons why I love this meal… delicious, nutritious, and virtually no cleanup. I line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and I roast fresh vegetables(Broccoli, red bell peppers, fresh green onions and rice cauliflower) Along with a fresh piece of salmon. Bake everything at the same time and at the end you just throw away the parchment paper.

  23. Suzanne Robinson

It depends on the time of year. My favorite meals by season are:
Winter — Beef Stew with cornbread — So warm and filling
Spring — Italian Chicken with Pasta Salad — A quick and easy meal that can be prepped ahead so that you can get outside in the evening
Summer — Bacon and tomato sandwiches on wheat toast with fresh corn salad and cantaloupe — Everything can be prepped ahead so that all you have to make toast and spread the mayo when you are ready to eat
Fall — Lasagne — What more needs to be said?

  24. Janette Wallace

I think spagetti is so easy to make in hardly any time, if I have more time I will make lasagne.

  25. Julie Taylor

My favorite meal has always been spaghetti. I love to cook it and eat it. As a child, we got to choose our birthday meal and mine was always spaghetti. I wish I could say I made my own noodles, but I do not possess that talent.

  26. Janet K H

I love cooking stew in the crock pot. I enjoy cutting up the various veggies & then, as the day goes on, the smell gets stronger & stronger. It smells like comfort.

  27. Brenda L

I don’t really cook but I would say when I do cook it is doing the side dishes for Christmas and Thanksgiving and Easter and anything that my niece will cook with me and take all the credit for making that just makes it so special. My favorite side dish is to easy to call cooking but Frozen Pea Salad.

My favorite is my own recipe, my husband named BCS. I start with some chicken and put italian seasoning and some garlic on it, then wrap it in bacon and bake it. Once done I let it cool and shred it up and mix it with some mushrooms, spinach, and a little cheese. I then put that into some homemade pastry and bake it. We love it with some salsa put on top!

  36. Claudine E

My favorite meal is Rice and Beans. All sorts of beans and rice for a complete protein. I make a Persian dish called “Pollo Havige” which means rice and carrots with red kidney beans really good. Another is Rice and Lima beans with chopped dill. And it’s easy pezy. I also add turmeric to the H20 that the rice is boiled in giving it a rich yellow colour. Love it!

  41. Andrew Caro

Probably leftovers, and they’re even better if somebody else made the original meal. One thing I used to love was to take Mom’s leftover Mac & Cheese, and mix it with my leftover meat sauce from spaghetti! We were a very pasta friendly family.

I like making Lasagna. I love the taste of it and everyone in my family loves it. I can make it ahead and have it ready to pop in the oven. I usually make an extra pan of it and put it in the freezer to be enjoyed at a later date when we are busy and still want a great meal. Perfect for days when I want to spend my day sewing, crafting or quilting instead of cooking!

  53. Bessie Phillips

I love to make beef stroganoff. Everyone loves to eat it, too! Many years ago when my husband was in Bible Collage in Oklahoma City, a wonderful family invited us to stay with them while we looked for a house to rent. She made the most delicious stroganoff I had ever eaten. I watched and she taught me all her secrets! Everyone through the years have enjoyed the lesson I learned. My 4 children learned and now make it for their family and friends!

I can make a different type of healthy breakfast to take on the run such as a potato, cheese, chilie, ham, red pepper burrito with a corn tortilla. Cooked in olive oil! For dinner Since I am Italian I love to make some kind of pasta sauce either a top round roast sauce, braciole sauce, eggplant parmigiana sauce, ground round sauce, meatball sauce, red peppers & onions sauce w/ mushrooms, etc. That prize looks so pretty to work with!!!

  60. Rede Batcheller

Breakfast — ‘cause it’s always comfort food, and most of the time I can do it right even if I’m half asleep. These days it’s most often hot cereal or, if I’m in more of a hurry, a moderately whacked version of PB&J (jam, not jelly) we call a Kilamanjaro, along with the second cup of coffee for the morning.
