A mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows I can warm my hands and insides with as I curl up under a cuddly afghan with my dog sitting on my feet.

Sit on my Bed, prop my feet up, get my dachshunds settled around me & crochet on my next project!

Curl up under a favorite quilt I have made with a good book or movie on the TV and don’t think about the winter but think about spring and all of the beautiful flowers that spring forth in my yard and many other yards near me.

Turn on the heated recliner and work on my Swedish weaving Afghan while watching my favorite tv show Murdoch Mysteries.

Working on a big knitted Afghan and using it to keep me warm. Along with my dog and a cup of hot tea

During the colder weather I always wear a sweater over my clothes and a pair of fleece slippers around the house. If I start feeling chilled I will wrap up in a warm blanket and sip a hot drink. If I am still cold I use my electric throw which makes me toasty warm.

Snugglin’ with my sweetie. Unfortunately, I can’t be with sweetie right now. COVID sucks.

Keeping active keeps my blood flowing and my body warm. Of course, doing a craft that is all over your lap makes for good insulation, too!

I wear several layers because it is vey cold in the morning but gets quite warm in the afternoon in New Mexico.

Of course living in CT we just turn up the heat when it gets too cold. However, my favorite way to stay warm in the winter is to make a big bowl of yummy soup or a beef stew & have it for supper in my PJ’s.

I love to burn candles by the bath, as well as on the fireplace mantle during the winter. It’s beautifully romantic and smells fabulous!
