Monopoly hands down. My husband made his own set of rules when our sons were small. Like you can build if you only own one property. It worked well and didn’t take forever to win.

My son and I (he’s 16) love playing rummy and uno. I think he enjoys the opportunity to trash talk me lol. Also Yahtzee! It’s a great way for us to bond and talk about issues in a much more relaxed setting. And, its just plain fun!

Thanks for a chance to win, I LOVE Doodlebug and this is too stinkin cute!!

Uno has been our family fav for many, many years. It’s a great learning tool for the youngins as well.

  4. Amy O

Wingspan is my favorite board game. It’s so beautifully illustrated and creative. And cribbage is my favorite classic game, grew up playing it with my dad. 🙂

  5. Amy Goossen

Not really a board game, but Rummikub is always a great game. Whether 2 or 4 players, the adding to and stealing from others’ plays makes it rather interesting.

  6. Kris Buckler

My family likes Betrayal at the House on the Hill. Changes every time you play it and with the expansion packs, it is even more fun.

  7. Denise Bryant

I am a huge fan of Doodlebug AND Halloween, so this prize is really fantastic!
My favorite board game is Upwords! Kind of like Scrabble, but a little more to it since you can place tiles on top of each other to create more words. I don’t get to play it too often since my hubby is not a great speller!

  8. Linda Frick

Canasta card game. Used to play it with my grandmother as a kid. We spent lots of fun time together keeping her entertained.

  9. Rebecca Rivera

My favorite board game as a child was Shoots and Ladders. My kids favorite was Yahtzee.. Sadly, we dont play board games any more, as all my children are grown, moved away, or working. Playing board games as a parent was never about winning but about hearing the laughter of children. GOD Bless

phase Ten!!! My 90 year old mom and I love cards. I’m her only daughter who will play and we have so much fun.

  11. Dianne

The Game of Life of course. I played it with my six siblings, my nieces and nephews, and now with my great nephew. It’s just oodles of fun!

  12. Amy Wilkinson

It’s a toss up between Sorry and Clue. Love them both still but the trouble is finding others who want to stop their busy lives and play, LOL.

  13. Maxine

Spite and Malice for cards and scrabble for a board game. Can sit for hours when I have the hours. LOL Love free stuff Friday.

  14. Rita Kindle

My favorite game is Chutes and Ladders. It’s fun, nostalgic, and just about everyone can play it, old or young.

  15. Michele

My favorite board game is the Nightmare Before Christmas version of Monopoly – so much fun to play with my husband, who reminds me all the time to laugh at the little things.

  16. Dianne G.

I like Settlers of Catan. It is the game we play together when all my children and grandchildren are together. We have so many playing now that we need to add the expansion pack and it is so much fun.

  17. Laura Garrigues

I’ve recently started playing Magic The Gathering with my boyfriend. He learned how to play in the 90’s when it first came out, and it has been fun playing games together every night!

  18. Vicki Abrew

Uno ATTACK! This one is great if you love the game. It brings a bit of extra excitement by shooting out a handful of cards – excellent for kids. We love playing this! Just when you think you’re out of cards….NOT! Great game!

  19. Leslie Birdsall

The classic game of “Life” is a family favorite! I love doodlebug, the hocus pocus collection is adorable.

  20. Sylvia Kelley

Farkle is my favorite game. I have many fond memories sitting around the dining table with my family and rolling those dice. I know it isn’t a board or card game, but it has provided my family of countless hours of laughter and fun.

  21. Eleanor

Funny I was just telling my husband that when I was a kid, I loved candy land and chutes & ladders and wanted to buy those games for my grandkids.

  22. Tami B

I know this is too late (I don’t get the post till the following day via email) but my fav. game is Catch Phrase.

  23. Suzanne Robinson

Favorite Board Game is a toss up between Monopoly and Clue.
My favorite card game is Crazy Eights. It is my favorite because my Mom taught it to me.

  24. Jeena Huntzinger

How can you top Monopoly for favorite board game? Classic cut throat. Milles Bournes (Touring) has been my favorite card game for decades. It remind me of an auto race with road blocks.

  25. Allison Garvin

My favorite board game is Scrabble. My husband and I can play it anywhere on my Kindle. We’ve been married so long that we each have heard each others jokes and know all each others stories. Being able to play Scrabble had reKindled our relationship! hehehehehehe
