My ideal summer day is…spending the day with my family and our pets!
To enjoy the sunshine and have a daylong picnic!
    No TV…no texting…no internet!

  2. Gabriella Bell

Day trip with the family, exploring a new town or something touristy or historic.

  3. Christine Lashley

Temperature in low 80’s, low humidity, a comfy porch swing and some hand-sewing or crocheting or even a good book. Oh, and a nice tall iced tea too.

  4. Theresa Fields

Some early morning gardening, then an afternoon swim at pool or beach. Since covid I spend afternoon crafting sun catchers and wine chimes.

  5. Stephen

My ideal summer day is iced tea sitting in the shade looking over the country views

A hike w/ my husband and relaxing at home in the yard – bird watching and playing with our dog!

  7. Kelly OBrien

Comfortable temperature with low humidity and a fresh gentle breeze. No flies or wasps. No sunburn. Spending the day swimming, napping, having a BBQ, picking our own corn and apricots, visiting with friends and family. Fireflies lighting the path on a walk through the local woods while crickets chirp in the background.

    Fun colors of Sharpies!
An ideal summer day for me would be heading over to beautiful Lake Tahoe for the day. Some window shopping in Tahoe City, lunch out at one of my favorite spots at the Truckee River where you can sit on the patio, enjoying the cooler temps as we escape from the summer heat at home.

Summer season is my favorite always! I’d love to take a relaxing walk around the blocks in the mild warm morning. In the rest of sunny and warm day, I stay home and do my crocheting project with blasting colorful granny squares for a nice big throw blanket! Have a blasting Fourth of July! 🙂

  10. Vinny Slagle

AMEN! I used to go there in Lake Tahoe many times all my life! (Whispering- I live in Reno/Spks. Enjoy on Fourth of July!

My ideal summer day is when my kids and grandkids are here, playing, hiking, rock climbing, riding 4-wheelers, having a BBQ with all kinds of great foods, hunting for cool rocks, and just having an all-around great time! That always puts me in my happy place!

  13. Janet M

It is a pleasant summer temperature with a cooling breeze and the chance to be near water and fun.

  14. Marian Eure

Visiting one of the wineries in the Texas Hill country and sipping a glass of wine on the patio.

  15. Betty

Being at home in Texas with my family and soaking up the sunshine makes an ideal summer day

  16. Jean Marmo

My ideal summer day is time at the cottage where we fish, boat, have campfires and so much more.

  17. Teresa C Willis

My ideal summer day would be an early morning walk on the beach to look for treasures then to have coffee before the heat of the day arrives, crafting inside in the air conditioner.

  18. Maureen Ramsey

My idea of a summer day is floating around in the pool and watching the Grand kids learn to swim.

  19. Lorraine Pounds

Well, being a breast cancer survivor, makes each day special. My perfect summer day would be spending it in the country with my kids and husband. Pitching a tent, having a big fire for marshmallows, telling scary stories, and just enjoying another day given to me to spend with those I love..

    Thanks for the opportunity.

  20. Sara

Swimming in the afternoon and evening with friends, then roasting marshmallows around the fire pit.

  21. Michelle

A perfect day would be sleep in until I am rested Slowly ease into a day of seeing ,knitting and misc crafting including coloring with my new sharpies

  22. Angela

Not summer 2020. It would have to be the summer of 1986 when I sold fruit and veg to buy my plane to Canada.

  23. Tracy McDonald

    My Perfect Summer’s Day?
Sitting among a grove of trees, looking up into the canopy as light rays splay across a creek. God’s Fireworks Sparkling.

  24. Teresa Grems

My ideal summer day consists of, the sun shining bright , family cook outs at the beach, the kids running around, tiring themselves out, and me crocheting in the shade watching my family enjoying life!

  25. DM Bronstein

My favorite summer day Every Summer is July 7th, because it is birthdays that I celebrate every year going back centuries: My great-great grandmother, my Mother, and me were all born on this date. My Mom turns 90 this year, and she turned 77 in 2007. Seven has always served me well, and I am excited every year to not only celebrate with my Mom, but to see her; which we will be zooming with her this year. So much love on this celebrated dated!

  26. Mary H

Warm, sunny day sitting in a shaded lawn swing with a good book, supply of cool water and a dog at my side. No phone, no computer, just the sound of running water in the creek and birdsong. Ahhh…

  27. Karen Hunter-Nowak

Getting up early in the morning watching the deer at the pond, listening to the birds, and just enjoying all that god has given us.

  28. Jennifer Hendrick

Sleep in, do nothing but catch some rays the rest of the day, eat seafood all-day, and watch a good movie laying on cool sheets and fall asleep peacefully!

  29. Carol Y

A day at home puttering in my backyard with my family, BBQing and enjoying the garden harvest.

  30. Belinda G Quinton-Thomas

My ideal Summer day is to watch my grandkids play in the garden, then turn the water hose sprinkler on for them to run thru it. After that we would have a picnic and watch the clouds in the sky to determine the shapes. Simple and easy things for them to do with a little help from “Granny”. Playing make believe with children can fill your day and your heart.

  31. Dianne G.

My best summer day would be sitting outside in the yard in the shade with a gentle breeze and crafts on the table to work on. I love crafting outside on a beautiful day. I would also need a cold drink beside me. The perfect end to the day would be my hubby making a BBQ dinner for us to enjoy after helping me bring in all my craft supplies and finished projects.

  32. Lynette M Rambousek

Spending the day with grandbabies. They are so grand!!!! Thanks for the opportunity to win.

  33. Gail Plaskiewicz

My ideal summer day is one that’s not to hot, I’d say 80 minus the humidity. Lots of sun. A picnic lunch at the beach, a lake in our state. Hot Dogs, potato chips, pickles, macaroni salad, bottled water. After we eat & before, we go swimming. Yeah, that would be a great summer day but not in my state this year. Maybe next year? We can only hope!

  34. Cath T

No housework! Son home. An outdoor concert, a walk in a public garden. Big meal prepared ahead of time. Lots of time to talk.

  35. Sharon Knisely

Sitting on by back porch working on a craft item. Mid 70’s, a little breeze and a glass of ice cold water. Heaven!

  36. Sheri Lesser

Waking up at a beach campsite with my boyfriend. Eating a yummy (but, healthy) breakfast…then spending the rest of the day lounging on the beach and swimming. No cell phones and no worries other than what we’ll eat for our next meal.
