While I’ve been fortunate to have many memorable restaurant meals, my all-time favorite meal is summer’s “Garden Bounty”: grilled ham steak, new potatoes, garden green beans, sliced tomatoes with salt and pepper, corn on the cob, cole slaw, and rye bread with hard butter. Yum!

  2. Gabriella Bell

My breakfast brunch a couple of months ago.
My mom’s puffy French toast with raspberries, lox and mini bagels, sausage and egg bake and champagne

The juiciest, tenderest, mouthwatering-iest steak cooked by my husband. Outback Steakhouse just doesn’t cut it any more!

The meal included with the VIP tour of Universal Studios. What a spread! Blue soft shell crab and other delicacies that I’d never thought I would actually ever taste. Very memorable.

I just recently had my best meal. It was prepared y my favorite chef… my 11 year old son. He made Sesame Chicken with broccoli florets, baby carrots, and butternut squash with a side of cauliflower fried rice.

  6. Janet Meisner

It was at a restaurant my son took me to in Nova Scotia. The best fish I have ever eaten.

  7. Kelly OBrien

Pasta with gravy (or “sauce” to most) or bolognese, ravioli, fresh bread, and Italian Wedding soup…all home made by my Auntie Lena. And cannoli from the Italian bakery down the street to finish it off.

I think it would be the tasting dinner for my daughter’s wedding. It was at an amazing italian restaurant and they served us huge platters of the most amazing food! And nine slices of cake to try.

Your question reminds me of my grandfather. Every time he ate a meal somewhere, he would always say, “It was the best meal I ever had!”

It’s difficult to answer your question because my parents were wonderful cooks. Nearly every day growing up I had the most delicious meal. I think I liked my Mom’s chicken and dumplings best.

That’s a hard question to answer when you are 71 years old. That’s a lot of meals. The best meal I’ve ever had? My husband took me to Olive Garden last year for an early Valentines Day. It was the best pasta ever.

Wow!!! Not sure. I think it may have been at my son’s wedding reception….the variety was amazing, Salmon & Bison, plus, plus, plus…….

My all time favorite meal is anything I don’t have to cook. A friend sent me roast beef sandwiches when I had surgery and she sent it over and I just had to put it all together but that was one of my favorite meals.

  13. Stephen

Dads roast beef dinner on a Sunday in the 1960’s with Yorkshire punning and rice pudding

  14. Donnalynn Lawton

The best meal I ever had was tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich when I was a kid home sick.

  15. Amy

An evening of food and wine pairings at Ponte Winery in Temecula. So amazing! Their outdoor restaurant is my favorite place to sit and eat.

I have so many favorites from all the years I’ve been around, my mother’s cooking was awesome, I have been to almost all the states in this great country and had many different cuisines. But most recently I guess would be at one of Emeril’s restaurants in Las Vegas I got a steak on a plank of cedar. It was thick and juicy and the best steak I have eaten in years.

New Year’s eve my daughter and her new husband made us rib roast, roasted vegetables, and homemade yeast rolls. He is a keeper to make such a delicious dinner for us!
