Is there a kitten out there small enough to fit in a teacup? I don’t know, but it sure is cute!
Today’s project is clean and simple with lots of white space. I love to keep cards like this interesting by adding a stenciled layer behind my focal point.
I started off by placing an A2 sized white card panel onto my Make Art Stay-tion, topping it with Echo Park’s Coffee Stencil Flourish, then securing another stencil I created with a die cut heart over the top.
I blended some Shaded Lilac Distress Ink over the top of the stencils to create a heart pattern.
Next, I colored the kitten stamp from Hero Arts’ Kit Tea Stamp and Cut set using alcohol markers.
I popped the kitten up onto the front of the stenciled heart with some foam tape, then added the sentiment along the bottom corner. I then adhered the entire panel to the front of a plain note card. I love how the stencil adds a pretty layer without any bulk.
Thanks so much for joining me today!
