It’s Fall season and this means there’s lots of beautiful and fun crafts you can do with your kids using the amazing nature treasures outside! This Fall Wreath uses colorful hues of oranges, yellows and reds of the leaves that fall to the ground. Have fun picking them, collecting them and creating something gorgeous. Add a stamped letters sign to your liking and you have a wonderful decoration piece for Fall to hang!
- Paper plate
- Fall leaves
- Glue stick
- Pipe cleaner (chenille stem)
- White cardstock
- Hole punch
- Craft scissors
- Alphabet stamps
Fold the paper plate in half and using the craft scissors cut out the middle to create a ring/wreath.
Now cut the stems off the leaves and …
glue the leaves onto the paper plate ring using the glue stick and work in one direction.
Cut a rectangle out of the white cardstock. Make sure it’s small enough to fit inside the wreath.
Using the alphabet letters, stamp “Happy Fall”, or “Welcome Fall”, or anything you would like!
Using the hole puncher, make three holes – one at the top of the wreath and two at the top of the sign.
Now weave the pipe cleaner through the holes of the sign and meet together at the top of the wreath hole. Pull through and twist at the end to create a loop (you can easily hang the wreath by this loop!)
Isn’t this wreath gorgeous? And it’s super fun to make!
