I find inspiration in my craft room all the time and for today’s project, it was my Delicata ink pads.
I had this gorgeous stamp set from Avery Elle called Layered Rose and thought it would be fun to stamp and emboss it using rich fall-themed colors.
Delicata is a pigment ink with a beautiful shimmer to it. I chose Golden Glitz, Rose Gold, and Ruby Red for my rose layers and Emerald Green for the leaves.
After stamping the images, on to kraft colored cardstock, I heat embossed them with clear powder for a shiny finish.
I then, trimmed the flowers and leaves out with the matching dies, I arranged them on to a notecard created with kraft colored card stock. I added a strip of white to brighten it up a bit with a sentiment from Avery Elle’s Floating Wishes stamp set.
Popping the flowers up with foam squares gives a little bit of dimension.
This is another example of using your stamps year round just by switching up the ink. I have a previous post where I did the same thing using markers which you can find HERE. Thanks so much for joining me today!
