This Fish in a Bag craft is a super easy and fun craft idea, plus it’s 3D making it even more exciting! Simple materials, easy steps and kids are going to love it!

You’ll need:

Step one:

Place the white cardstock vertically, and using the washable kids paint, first draw a fish (about 4″ long) by stamping the paintbrush up and doing to create scales. Then create the light blue color by mixing a bit of dark blue washable kids paint with water and draw water around the fish (you can also use blue watercolors for this step).

Step two:

Next, using the craft scissors cut out a baggie around the fish. Using the black permanent marker draw a few lines to create a “tie” for the bag.

And you’re done! Aren’t the steps easy?

This simple craft is great even for toddlers since it doesn’t have to be perfect and focuses on creativity and ability to draw rather than anything else. This Fish in a Bag craft is also great as a classroom art project where every fish will be unique! So fun!
