For some reason, with all the card making I do, I can never seem to have enough baby cards on hand.  Or I have some for just a girl or just a boy.  Today’s project, will help bulk up your baby card collection with an easy design and a few quick swipes of the die cutting machine.

I love the subtle scallops on this background die from Avery Elle called Scalloped Mat.  I feel like they would be something you would decorating a baby’s room, so I used pink and blue card stock to cut out a few.

After stamping and heat embossing the cute little elephant from the Peek A Boo Pals stamp set onto a vertical style A2 note card, I colored it in with a light gray Zig brush pen.  After, I adhered my die cut panel over the top with foam tape.  I love the soft, watercolor look the Zig pens give to the elephant.

Here’s a peek at the inside.   I use the Letter It Baby stamp set from Ranger.

The Scalloped Mat die set comes with the die cut words “Oh Joy” so I added those along the bottom of the frame opening and a bow from the Wonky 3D Bows set along the top.

These cards were so quick and easy to make, I may just make a few more for my collection!  Thanks so much for joining me today!
