I love fun and light-hearted stamp sets. For my project today, I discovered this cute sentiment stamp from Riley & Company called PMS—Purchase More Shoes, that is! Perfect for your best friend who loves her footwear!
I started off by stamping the stamp onto a white card stock circle I die cut. I heat embossed some clear powder over the top to add dimension, then trimmed a little off the bottom of the circle since it would be adhered to the bottom of a note card.
I added a stenciled layer to go behind the stamped image on the front of an A2 white card panel. To create this, I cut a partial circle into some masking paper, then stenciled Echo Park’s Classy Fan stencil over the top using Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink.
I love the effect when you peel away the mask!
I completed the card by covering the front of a white notecard with some black and white striped paper, then adding the white, stenciled panel on top. I trimmed off the top and bottom of the panel so the stripes would show. After coloring the shoe with some Zig brush pens, I added the sentiment circle to the bottom of the card with foam tape.
A fun card for your fashionista friend J.
Thanks so much for joining me today!
