Happy Friday, and Happy Flag Day! In honor, I thought I would help one lucky reader so their patriotic spirit with this Darice 16 inch USA Barn Star!
This Darice Patriotic USA Barn Star is a metal, dimensional star with a crackle finish that gives it a weathered look. Stripes are painted red and cream, blue field is navy with white stars. Includes jute cord loop for hanging. Measures approximately 16 3/4 x 16 inch.

The United States of America
Chocolate Day Would be my national Holiday
Creativity Day… I love to be creative with crafts, plants, etc. I love to try to try to make my own versions of homemade items such as cold pressed soaps to wooden porch signs.
Crafting or animals or both!
Fiber/Yarn – especially knitting and crocheting
It would celebrate paper crafting and sharing to keep it alive
See stuffed animal day. I love to make them and give them.
It would celebrate surviving cancer – not once but twice!
It would be great at stamped cross stitch. I love to cross stitch but it has to be stamped for me to do it.
It would be Flag Day! In honor of our great United States Flag, which by coincidence is also my birthday.
My holiday would celebrate making something old into something new. Just have lil parties where you repaint something or toss some glitter on it. Tuft the cushions on your couch for a fresh place to sit. Etch family members names on their usual drinking glasses. Just jazz up what ya got!
Music. Everyone could just sit around and listen to their favorite music and find peace within themselves
How do join for free friday?
No only my craftiness, but my giving spirit as well!
I would like a Minnesota Day so more people would/could recognize us.
One that would celebrate reading, relaxing and refreshing!
If there were a holiday in my honor, it would celebrate creativity and kindness. Encouraging people to make something with their own two hands that they give to someone else.
My holiday would celebrate Americana.
Dressing appropriately for each holiday at hand. At work I called myself the “firm’s self-appointed holiday fashion police”. On my retirement, my friends decorated my cubicle with decorations for every holiday. And, if it’s a patriotic holiday, it’s my favorite. Yes, I am dressed in red, white and blue right now and have lots of flags outside.
It would be about me!
I love America and I love crafting so I would want an Americana crafting day.
It would be about books and literacy.
Freedom in the greatest country in the world! Oh wait, that’s already taken!
Thank you to all men and women who are current and veteran military!
My day would be “Nonjudmental Day”. Maybe that would inspire people to refrain from prejudices and allow others to be free from being judged.
Spot killing baby day in honor of MM
There’s already Mother’s Day, so I guess there’d be a day honoring my marriage. Not the romance, as Valentine’s Day does that, or the annual remembrance like an anniversary. A nod to the perseverance through hard times, the refusal to give up on each other even when going through hardship and the faith in each other to stick with it even when a reason to do so was difficult to see.
It would be the day of love for family, friends, and country.
It would be a day of love for family, friends, and country.
There would have to be a Relaxation Day. Everyone could take a day off from work, school, housework, etc without any penalty. It would be one day a year that everyone takes on a day they need it.. So not everyone would celebrate on the same day.
Paper Crafting. It always makes me happy to create.
My holiday would celebrate America.
Decoupage queen!
Loosewheel Day
So fine
I WOULD CELEBRATE THAT JESUS LOVES ME!
I would celebrate America! God Bless America!
I know exactly where to put that awesome STAR if I won it!! Right in the front window!
Up-cycling Day! Let’s help the earth and make new things!
Spreading kindness and helping others, human or animal!
Caregiver Day! God Bless all the Caregivers in this world – a loving but difficult (at times) task.
Family Day – crafting time for families to spend time together
Sharing Creativity Day!
