These Paper Roll Butterflies are so easy to make and are a great recycled craft idea! Create adorable butterflies using paper rolls and some basic craft supplies, perfect craft for Spring!
You’ll need:
- Paper roll
- Washable kids paint
- Paintbrush
- Cardstock (assorted colors)
- Glue stick
- Pipe cleaners (chenille stems – assorted colors)
- Kid-safe scissors
- Scotch tape
- Googly eyes
- Black permanent marker
Step one:
Paint the paper roll with desired color and let dry.
Step two:
Cut out a set of wings out of cardstock, allowing the kids to choose the color they want to use.
Step three:
Using the glue stick, glue on the wings to the backside of the painted paper roll.
Step four:
Now for the antennas, cut a pipe cleaner in half and then once more and tape to the inside of the paper roll.
Step five:
Add the googly eyes and draw in a smile.
