For those of us still stuck in the deep freeze of winter, crafting can be a nice way to spend a cold afternoon.  Why not make a few cute greetings for friends and family?  For today’s project, I have a sweet little snow-themed card using some products from Echo Park’s Celebrate Winter collection.

I wanted to use some of the chipboard critters from Celebrate Winter Chipboard Accents, so I die cut part of a circle into the corner of a 4 1/4x 5 ½” white card stock panel.  This will be the focal point where I place the critters.

To create my snowy scene around the critters, I gathered up an array of blue and silver inks along with some shimmer spray to add at the end.

Using the Falling Snow stencil, I blended Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide inks all around along with some Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink in between.

At the end, I sprayed Sparkle shimmer spray for an added frosty look.

I popped the panel up with foam tape, added a die cut and sentiment from Hero Arts Stamp and Cut Wishes set, and of course, the little critters tucked in away from the snow.

Thanks so much for joining me today.  Stay warm, and just remember, spring is just around the corner!
