This is hard to chose. We are a board game type of family. We have over 100 different types of board game (from trouble to XCOM) But I’m going to say one of my favorite is Risk.

Love Rummikub. Mom learned it at her Senior Living home, taught my so & family, who taught me. We play whenever I visit.

As an adult, I love Scrabble. When my kids were little, it was Are You My Mother? with magnetic hens and chicks on a barnyard board.

Marbles is our favorite game to play with family. Recently we’ve really liked playing LINKEE with friends, also.

Man..I have so many I love! Champions of Midgard might be my favorite though. A close second is Terraforming Mars.

I like the classic games – Monopoly, checkers, scrabble – but my husband is a fan of table top gaming and my girls are into the star wars game they play with him.

Not seeing a lot of love for Trivial Pursuit, but that’s been a fave since college. 🙂 Happy New Year!!

The adults in my family play card game rummy. For the young children it’s checkers and monopoly. For adults and the children play bible trivia, dominos and yahtzee.

Scrabble. I have some great memories from that game including my father trying to convince us that A-weema-weh (from the song In The Jungle) was a word, an African Hammock LOL

I really enjoy “Ticket to Ride,” but recently bought my bestie the Golden Girls version of “Clue.” I haven’t played it yet, but the fact that you can say “it was Blanche on the Lanai with Sophia’s purse!” makes me think it is my new favorite game.

More than 55 years ago, my Aunt Louise taught me how to play Euchre while i was still young enough to sit on her lap. All these years later, it continues to be my favorite game with a group.

Lcr. Left right center. Use roll tje dice and use only three dollars or three coins or chips. It is a game for anyone 8 and up.

I was surprised to see somebody else loves Mille Bornes as well. But then again, it’s a great game, so maybe not. I’ve been playing with my family since I was a kid, then in Camp Fire Girls, then in French class in high school (when those French terms finally made more sense) and even when I was living in Australia. I always played with other people’s sets, so when I was an adult I got one of my own. So many good memories!

I grew up playing all kind of games from pinochle, to monopoly, to sorry, to clue, to life, to scrabble, etc, I guess you could say that I pretty much like all kinds of table games

I have a favorite game that I love to play but no one else will play because it takes to long. The game is Life. In the 80’s my ex-BFF & I used to play. It was my game but she almost always won! I love to play board games because I think they sharpen your brain. I just wish more people wanted to play with me! Can I get some of you to play with me?

  18. Vencine Martin

Love Love Love the game Sorry! So fun knocking my siblings off the board. This game never gets old!
