As an adult, I love Scrabble. When my kids were little, it was Are You My Mother? with magnetic hens and chicks on a barnyard board.

The adults in my family play card game rummy. For the young children it’s checkers and monopoly. For adults and the children play bible trivia, dominos and yahtzee.
We have enjoyed dominos with the grandkids, but our favorite is jigsaw puzzles.

More than 55 years ago, my Aunt Louise taught me how to play Euchre while i was still young enough to sit on her lap. All these years later, it continues to be my favorite game with a group.

Lcr. Left right center. Use roll tje dice and use only three dollars or three coins or chips. It is a game for anyone 8 and up.

Mille Bornes (a French card game by Parker Brothers)
I was surprised to see somebody else loves Mille Bornes as well. But then again, it’s a great game, so maybe not. I’ve been playing with my family since I was a kid, then in Camp Fire Girls, then in French class in high school (when those French terms finally made more sense) and even when I was living in Australia. I always played with other people’s sets, so when I was an adult I got one of my own. So many good memories!
I Love Uno With my grandkids and Kids! So many of us can play and even the smaller kids with the colors and numbers. Such a great family game!

I have a favorite game that I love to play but no one else will play because it takes to long. The game is Life. In the 80’s my ex-BFF & I used to play. It was my game but she almost always won! I love to play board games because I think they sharpen your brain. I just wish more people wanted to play with me! Can I get some of you to play with me?
