We would call them Betsy when concerned about them making it through a certain task or certain destination.

  2. Debi

My current car does not have a name…..but my previous car was dubbed Fannie by a friend…..even though I always think of my cars as male….

  3. Sue

Not the current one… but previous one was “Katie Kelly” no idea why the kids named “her” !!!

  4. Kelly OBrien

I don’t have a name for my current car, although my mother calls it “Baby.” I have to admit, it seems to fit on those occasions when I’m coaxing it…”Come on, Baby, just one more mile to the shop so they can figure out what’s wrong with you.”

  5. Theresa

No, never thought of naming the car. When it won’t start we say “come on old girl you can do it”, that’s the closest thing to a name.

  6. Alice C.

I call her Ladybug . . . because the little beetles always manage to get in trying to hibernate in the fall and winter!

  7. Carmen

I’ve named all my cars except the first one (unless POS counts LOL). Most have been based on the color: Ms. Cranberry, Kermit (green), Silver Bullet. My current vehicle is “Aaron” – because we picked him up on Aaron Rodgers day (12/12/2012).

This kit would really come in handy! I’m a beginner at jewelry making and would love to learn more!
My car doesn’t have a name. My first car did…. he was Otto! It was an Opel GT, a German made car.

Our current van doesn’t has a name but when we were first married we had a 1960 brookwood Chevy wagon, and called it jezebel.

My Tahoe is called Chocolate because of the custom paint job it was painted with a chocolate brown
with pink feet on it. My Niece named it Feet but that is because the Feet on it stand for her walking all over me. Which she loves to do.

My daughter’s car was a little green Fiat, that we all called the “Little Avocado”, well earlier this year, a hailstorm hit just outside of the daycare she worked at, and to make a long story short, it literally became the little “dimpled” avocado as she watched out the window! Sadly, it was totaled, but we had a good laugh over it!

Haven’t had a car for decades, public transportation is easier in The City. When I did have a car, most of what I called it wouldn’t be fit to print.

I don’t have a name for my car, maybe I should…………it’s a Honda Fit so how about Fiona, Flo, Fern, Faith or Fay?

A 1941 pickup we call Rusty and a 1956 cab over we call Pugsly. Had a 72 El Camino we called the “Duck” My current every day car is “Bestie”

Our cars we have now are pretty new to us. Our van we got in Aug. & our Subaru we got last month. So, we just haven’t had time to name them, if we will-who knows. But my first car, a 1980 Yellow Mazda GLC that we named Herbietta (after Herbie, the VW) from the movies.

  16. BarbMac Vt

I no longer have a vehicle because when my husband of 28 years left me in February he took our only vehicle.
My first Pontiac 6000 was named Rosy because she was as beautiful as a rose to me!

  17. NancyB from Many LA

No, my car was not named, but we call our truck “Old Truck” (2002, 307,000 miles)

  18. Jerilyn Butler

RAV & Sienna currently. Booger -a green Chevy and CreamPuff – a white Pontiac were two favorites.

  19. Gail Plaskiewicz

I don’t own a car but my mom does. It’s a black Honda but we never named it anything. It was just the car!

  20. cathy t

We only named one of our cars over the years. ( “The Tank” because it survived a couple of accidents.) I don’t get sentimental about cars so the current one has no name.

  21. Judy Knox

I never had a car till I got married. Then I shared it with the hubby. I didn’t name it, just drove it!
