Here’s lookin’at you, kid! Create a fuzzy monster wreath that’s more silly than scary, to greet trick-or-treaters at your Halloween door.
Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:
- FloraCraft Extruded Styrofoam Wreath 12 x 1 3/4 in. 1 pc. 1
- Pom-Poms (I used about 240, 1-inch pom-pom)
- Googly eyes
- A chenille stem
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
To begin, hot glue pom-poms all over the front, and sides of your wreath–be sure to squish them right up tightly next to each other.
Don’t worry about covering the back of the wreath, as you won’t be able to see it anyway, and it will lie flatter when hung. I used only 1-inch pom-poms, but you could vary your wreath by using varying sizes of pom-poms.
Next, glue various sizes of googly eyes onto some of the pom-poms around the wreath.
Lastly, to make a hanger on the back, twist a chenille stem into a small loop, and hot glue it onto the bare back of the wreath so you can hang it up.
Happy crafting!
