These handmade heart stamps are great for making pictures, cards and many other craft projects. You can use this technique to make lots of different designs and patterns.
You will need:
- Foam sheets
- Double sided tape
- Scissors
- Paint and paper (for printing)
Step 1:
Take a sheet of foam and cut out a square approximately 2 x 2 inches. Cut out at least 4 more squares of the same size. Then pile them up on top of one another and use the double sided tape to stick them together. This will create the top of your stamp that you will hold onto when stamping.
Step 2:
Using a different colored sheet of foam, cut out a small heart shape (make sure this shape is smaller than the squares that you made in step 1). Then cut out another identical heart shape and stick the two together using double sided tape.
Step 3:
Stick the heart shape onto the top of the foam squares to create your stamp. To print the stamps all you need to do is cover the heart in a thin layer of paint and press it down onto a sheet of paper or card, re-applying the paint when necessary.
