Wish a loved one a happy birthday by making them a special handmade birthday card with colourful buttons.
You will need:
- Buttons
- Colored card (yellow)
- Glue
- Black pen
Step 1:
Take a sheet of thin yellow cardstock (or any other colour of your choice) and fold in half. Use your finger or a ruler to press along the fold so the card will stay closed.
Glue a selection of brightly coloured buttons to the top half of the front of the card. Leave on a flat surface until the glue has dried to prevent the buttons from sliding off the card.
Step 3:
Using the black pen, draw a line from each button to a central point below the buttons. Make sure all the lines meet at the same point. Then draw a small bow where the lines meet to create a bunch of button balloons. Use the same pen to write “happy birthday” underneath the balloons. Then write your message inside and give to a friend or family!

Cute button card. Someone will feel special receiving this.
I am impressed with all these card ideas. Keep them coming. So easy to learn and pass on to friends, thanks. Jean,
