Playing with friends outside…riding bikes, making forts, and neighborhood-wide tag and hide and seek!

As a kid I loved playing jacks, climbing hay bails, catching tadpoles and playing in the rain….

I used to love reading and would spend hours sitting on the swings while reading book after book! I also loved climbing trees, playing kick the can and tag. Chasing fireflies on Summer evenings was also lots of fun!
I just wish I still had a little of the energy that I had back then! LOL
    Have a great weekend!

Climbing to the top of a tall building near my home that looked out over the city….i would spend houds up there. It was my secret/sacred place. I would write or draw while up there, it really stimulated my creativity.

I liked playing in a youth orchestra. We rehearsed for 5 hours on Saturdays, but I loved every minute of it!

My favorite activity as a kid was playing piano! I first got so frustrated that my fingers wouldn’t produce the beautiful music I saw others make, and then I learned to make it!

I loved making up stories. I’d take little beads or pebbles to be the characters, and sit there for hours daydreaming.

I truly enjoyed playing with dolls. I am told I also loved to read to my baby nephew as soon as I could read super easy books.

My favorite activity as a kid was playing with paper dolls. I had a big paper doll collection, which I kept in a cardboard box. It broke my heart when one of our cats confused that box with the litter box. I tried to dry all the dolls but my mother insisted that the wet one be thrown away. I managed to salvage the ones at the bottoms o the box though! Thanks for this awesome giveaway! My granddaughter and I love to play with Perler beads.

As a child I loved sewing. My mom taught me when I was young and I would save all the scraps from her sewing and make them into doll clothes for my little sister’s fashion dolls.

I used to climb trees and crafting was my favorite even as a kid. I even did perler beads as a kid. Something I still do with my kids now.
