DIY Upcycled Pom Pom Bowl

Need a last minute gift idea? I made this Pom Pom bowl to hold my art supplies. It turned out so cute I’m going to make several for holiday gifts this season. So can you!

Glue gun

Grab a plastic container from your recycling bin.

The amount of pom poms you use depends on the size of your container. If you are using a small container use smaller pom poms. Set aside the pom poms that fit your desired color scheme.

Put roughly a quarter size pool of hot glue on to your plastic container.

Then press a pom pom on top of the hot glue. Be careful not to burn yourself!

Glue pom poms around your container while making sure they are evenly spaced.

I organized my pom poms so the colors were evenly distributed.

There are so many color pattern possibilities with these pom poms.

After covering the outside of the container let the glue dry and cool.

There will likely be glue strings hanging off your container. This is a normal occurrence when hot glue gunning. After the glue has dried and cooled gently pull the strings off.

Admire your work before deciding what to display in your new pom pom bowl.
