Kids’ Crafts: Apples for Teacher

0 Flares 0 Flares ×

I grew up with a teacher for a mother, so naturally I got to eavesdrop on her and her teacher friends. Rumor had it that teachers like getting chocolate and other unhealthy goodies over apples, but these cute crafts are far better than a healthy snack – probably still not as good as chocolate – and will add a bit of character to any classroom!

Puffy Paint Window Clings

I adore these little window clings! They would be a perfect back to school gift for your kiddos teacher, or if you’re a teacher of kiddos, a super fun beginning of the year project!

Apple Paper Plate Lacing – Kid Things

With back to school comes learning new things. This project is great for your kiddos to work on dexterity and patterns. Plus it’s super cute. That’s a win-win in my book! Go check out the Kid Things blog for this tutorial.

Sun Catchers

This sun catcher would look about as “back-to-school” as it gets hanging in a classroom window! We also have boxes upon boxes of ornaments (I know, I know, I’m getting a bit ahead of myself here) from my moms students throughout the year. It never hurts to plan ahead!

Toilet Paper Roll Apples – Crafty Morning

I am loving this Craft Morning mama’s 3D apple! Perfect as a desk decoration, or maybe to hang from the ceiling. Your kiddos teacher may even want to recreate it for their own purposes – I’m thinking table number markers. How cute!

Paper Fan Apple

Don’t have any extra toilet rolls hanging around? Don’t worry, you can still make a cool desk decoration with this paper fan apple. I especially love the wooden stick as the stem – adds a realistic touch!

Coffee Filter Apples – Mom to 2 Posh Lil Divas

All I can think of when I see these coffee filter apples is how neat the sunlight will look shining through them. Or how fun these would be to make as a back to school craft to use as name tags. Go check out this Mom to 2 Posh Lil Divas  for the tutorial!

Happy crafting and have fun getting your kiddos back to school (and enjoy your extra free time, too!).

About Morgan

Hi there! I'm Morgan, the summer intern at Create For Less. I've tried my hand at scrapbooking, sewing, and knitting. After a bit of trial and error, I've finally decided that up-cycling and repurposing is my favorite type of crafting. When I'm not at the office or my other job at a tavern, I like to travel, take photos, and hang in the great outdoors.
