I had a rare night to myself last weekend and FINALLY got to see Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. Can’t wait for Part 2 next month!

My sweet hubby just bought me my own copy of “Please Don’t Eat The Daisies” with Doris Day and David Niven. Made in 1960 (a year before I was born), it is a movie I haven’t seen the movie in over 20 years, so I THOROUGHLY enjoyed a trip down memory lane! I love the huge Old English Sheep Dog that has to be carried everywhere!!!! It was Spring Byington’s final movie performance (she did only television after this movie). It is just a great classic movie that took place during a time where life was a bit simpler. Here is the link to WIKI fror anyone wanting to read more….cut and paste below into your browser:

The last movie that I watched was Hackers. I had never seen it, so we watched it over a friends house last weekend.

I hope you don’t mean in a theater–I rarely go to those anymore. At home, I watch loads of movies from the library. Currently I’m watching two about Truman Capote–Infamous and Capote. Not that I’m that interested in him, but I recently read a book about Harper Lee. Since she helped him research “In Cold Blood,” I wanted to see how those movies portrayed their friendship. Following up on her new book release last summer. As an aside, I make cards, and I loved the scene in “Namesake” where the mother is making her own birthday card for her son. Well, actually, it’s a bittersweet moment. Anyway, loved that movie. There’s also the scrapbooking scene in Renee Zellweger’s movie “New in Town.” I wonder how many movies include crafting….

I can’t tell you the last time I was in a theater. The last new (to us) movie we watched was Bedtime Stories (Adam Sandler)

I can’t remember what I last saw at the theater – yes, it’s been that long, but I watch a few movies a week. Last night we watched Pressure with Matthew Goode.

My husband and I went with friends just last Sunday afternoon and watched the new ‘Woodlawn’ movie.
All the true events actually took place near where I live. It’s amazing how accurate the movie portrays true events of the early seventies. I was a teenager then. Such a great movie! Lord bless ’em!

My nieces are at my house tonight for a sleepover, so we are eating popcorn and watching Frozen. The last movie that I watched with grown-ups was Midnight in Paris. It was great! Thanks for the great giveaway. I love to make jewelry!
