Since it’s the first Friday of October, I thought it was very appropriate to give away another Halloween Prize Pack. Let’s get to the prize!

This week’s prize pack includes a Martha Stewart Pinwheel Kit, glow-in-the-dark silhouettes, and cookie and cupcake stencils, an adult and child sized canvas apron, and a cat cookie cutter.

Every Friday we’ll post a giveaway on Think Crafts and all you have to do is comment on the blog post answering the question of the week. We’ll pick the winner and contact them via email. Deadline is midnight tonight and the winner will be announced Monday. One entry per person please.

Question of week: What do you want to be for Halloween this year?

The last time I “dressed up”, just for the fun of it, was when our kids were younger.
I don’t plan on dressing up this year:)

I was Kermit The Frog the other day. Our 7 year old granddaughter could not find or order a costume on line. They were only in toddler and adult sizes. So guess who came to the rescue!?! 😉 Blessed to do so too! 🙂 Then I modeled it and texted her a picture as it went into the mail, when it arrived she texted me a picture back, cutest little Kemit ever! Happy heart! <3

If I was going to dress up for Halloween I would go as a Crazy Bird from Tim Holtz’s Crazy Birds Collection! I am told often that I am a little crazy and also flighty so I think that would be fitting! LOL Thanks for the chance to win these goodies!! LOVE the rats!!!

I will be working so I will just be myself. I am in a new place so I would like to be home to meet all the kids, especially my 4 grandchildren.

Last year I dressed up last minute after coming home from work as a witch- I have a large black cloak, wore a black dress under and added stuff from around my costume wardrobe- even took one of my old cinnamon brooms and added some quick knick-knacks and florals for a personal touch (the scent had run out ha!) My 2 year old, though, I had bought these cat ears that were just the outlines and decided earlier that week to use craft foam to fill out the ears, take glitter glue and outline the insides of the ear where the other color was in foam, and them hot glue these sparkly pipe cleaners around the outside of it to really make them pop and stand out and then luckily it was chilly so she already had a furry cat vest that I put over pink clothes. She was my familiar!
This year I’m still unsure but I’m pretty sure I’ll be making the costumes again and still absorbing ideas and where to get my supplies!
