Definitely cold salads- tuna salad, chicken salad, lots of lettuces and spinach, and fruit salad. It is too hot here to even make coffee in the morning, so we brew once a week and drink iced coffee in the mornings!

Thanks for the great giveaways, and the interesting questions you always ask!

My Grandmothers taco salad. It has been a family favorite for years and everyone enjoys it! 🙂

Too hot to cook… too cold to cook… to early to cook… too late to cook… You name it and I have a reason not to cook. I love retirement – LOL

Romaine lettuce salad with lots of vegetables and grilled lemon-pepper chicken. I love the cold lettuce combined with the still-hot chicken.

A salad of some sort. Usually an Asian style salad with grilled chicken on top and some Chinese crunchy noodles.

My first response is, ,,,,leftovers. But when they aren’t available a nice Caprese salad, pretzel roll and cold glass of wine,,,,,,,,

My favorite would be a dish my mom always made me.. Egg Milk Toast. It’s toast on the bottom then 2 soft boiled eggs chopped and warm milk poured over all of it. Salt and pepper and your good to go.. Yummy

Chef salad with lots of fresh tomatoes, cukes, and romaine lettuce. You can add chopped boiled eggs, whatever kind of meats and your favorite dressing. Thanks for the great freebies you always offer!!!

When it’s too hot and steamy to cook, I simply grab some Jersey tomatoes and stuff them with either chicken salad or tuna salad. Add potato chips, a delicious drink, and good cheer and you have a simple, nutritious, delicious summer meal! And, BTW, thanks for having Free Stuff Friday!!!!

When it’s too hot and I’m too lazy to cook I resort to sandwiches. Meat and cheese is good or even old reliable peanut butter and jelly. There are usually some munchies like chips or raw fruits or vegetables to finish it off and lots of cold tea or lemonade.

My favorite thing to cook right now for this summer is tuna with mayo, pickles, onion, on lettuce as a salad. It might be a little weird adding lettuce since nobody I know eats it that way.
