Coffee Filters are one of those everyday items that can be turned, with just a little creativity, into amazing things. My coffee making habits don’t even use filters but you can be sure that I keep a big pile of traditional, basket style filters around the house, just for crafts! Here are a few of my favorite coffee filter crafts to get your creative juices flowing!
Paper Hydrangea Tutorial – One Young Love
Looking at these pretty flowers, you’d never guess that they are made primarily from coffee filters! I’m totally tempted to whip up a few of these for my living room, especially since it’s been pretty devoid of real flowers this winter!
Coffee Filter Wreath – Lovely Crafty Home
Another example of coffee filter flowers, this wreath is so beautiful, I had to look twice (ok, three times) to make sure it really was made of coffee filters. I especially love their use of season neutral colors here, you really could display this year round, but it would be super easy to customize to whatever colors you want!
Coffee Filter Angel Wings – Thoughts from Alice
I know Christmas and Christmas pageants have passed for the year but these wings are just too darn cute! They could make fun fairy wings with the addition of some color and glitter too! We’ve got a great how to on our craft trends pay on dying coffee filters too!
