Just the thing to make for your favorite knitter. Using beads or charms that fit their personality can really make these a special gift. Stitch markers are used to mark a place in the knitted piece or help count rows. They are useful tools that are easy to make.

Supplies

Start by choosing the largest jump rings you can find. The ones I found can be used with knitting needles up to a size 10, making them very versatile.

Next, place the bead on the head pin, twist the head pin into a loop and wrap the remaining wire around its self.

Place it on the jump ring and close the ring.

Make a set of 4 and give as a gift.
