This cute little bunny has some fun to share with a hidden message.  It’s perfect for an Easter card or for a baby shower announcement.  Wouldn’t you love to share your special message with this cuddly little bunny card?

This little guy can be created using any sized ovals and circles as long as everything is kept in proportion.

Begin by cutting 6 of the same sized ovals from white card stock using an oval punch, oval die or template.  Cut 4 more ovals from a smaller size using patterned paper (Graphic 45’s Secret Garden used on this little guy) and then cut 1 oval from white card stock in a larger sized oval for the head.

Use a circle die and die cut machine to cut his body from white card stock.  You will need to cut 2 circles for his body.

Layer the largest oval that is for his head in between the 2 circles.  Line them up so that the edge of the oval is approximately ¼” inside the edges of the circles.

Find the center of the head and body and punch a hole through the layers using a hand punch or Crop-A-Dile.   Place a white brad through the hole.   The head should now be securely attached to the body.

Attach the patterned paper ovals onto the ears and feet using a tape runner.  High light all of the pieces including the body using a light grey ink pad.  Add the ears and feet to the body and head.  Also, add the arms of the bunny onto the back of the body.

Punch 2 holes for the eyes and set 2 eyelets in the holes using an eyelet setter or Crop-A-Dile Big Bite II.  Punch another hole in the center and add a pink brad for the nose.  Put a smile on his face using some black Stickles and allow it to dry completely.

Punch the message out using the Alphabet Punch Set by Martha Stewart or stamp a message on in ink after  sliding the top circle open.  Attach the punched message using a Xyron or glue pen for quick work.

Finish the card off by tying 3 pieces of twine together into a bow and attaching it to the brad using a dot of glue.  This, also, helps to hide the brad.
