I made this project with my daughter to help decorate our house for Easter. It is a simple paper doll idea just using a bunny instead. It hangs in our living room and makes us smile every time we see it.
Start by cutting the poster board into a long piece – for my bunny the piece needed to be approximately 4” tall. Fold the poster board in an accordion fold, for my bunny it ended up being 3.5” wide panels. Once the paper is folded, trace the bunny. The bunny’s nose needs to touch the edge on one side and will not get cut. The bunny’s bottom and tail need to touch the other side at the folds and it will not get cut.
Trim out the bunny leaving folded parts at the nose and bottom.
When you open up the folded paper, it will make a bunny chain.
Cover the front of the bunny chain with Mod Podge and glitter. Let it dry. Give it another coat of Mod Podge and glitter and let dry again.
The bunny chain is ready to be hung up and enjoyed!
