A hot trend for fall are tassels. I love necklaces. I feel like I wear more accessories in the fall than the summer. Make these tiny delicate little tassels to add to a simple chain to accessorize any fall outfit.
Supplies
To make the tassel start by wrapping the thread around the craft stick 10 to 20 times, the amount of wraps makes the tassel more full. Once the wraps have been made, slide an open jump ring into the top loop of the wrap. Then remove the tassel from the craft stick. Wrap around the tassel at the jump ring. This secures the jump ring in place.
Use the needle to tie a knot to complete the tassel.
Then, take a pair of scissors and snip the loops at the end of the tassel to open them up.
Use the length of chain and in the center attach one of the tassels. Place the remaining tassels equal distance from each other on either side of the center. Use a lobster clasp to close the necklace.
