This is a simple gift to make someone who likes to wear hats. You could also wear it on a blazer or without the long pin, it could make a super cool little brooch. I used a few little scraps of leather and vinyl that I just couldn’t throw away. Hey, you never know when you’ll need something right?
YOU’LL NEED
- 8”X4” piece of brown leather or suede
- 8”X4” piece of green leather or suede
- 3”X3” piece of beige leather or suede
- 4”X4” piece of green vinyl, leather or suede
- 4” strip of brown leather cord (createforless.com has all the colors)
- 1 pearl
- E-6000
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Hat pin blank
HERE’S HOW
Cut out a large brown flower and 2 green flowers just a tiny bit smaller than the brown.
Using the smaller flower cut out a brown flower and then a beige flower just a tiny bit smaller than the brown.
Roll your strip of cord and hot glue the end so it makes a disk
With E-6000 glue your hat pin to the large brown flower
Glue the large green flower on top of that.
Glue the next brown flower and then the beige flower on top of that.
Glue down your disk and then add a pearl in the center.
Flip over your hat pin and add the 2nd green flower on the back.

I really love that flower. Seems fun and easy to do. Thank you so much for sharing.
