I could go to my local store and likely pay $3-$5 per hair clip. However, with a little creativity and time, you can make a dozen for the same price or even cheaper if you snag some supplies on sale! Word to the wise don’t use a hot glue gun, the gems will pop right off! You must go for the heavy duty stuff permanent glue.
What you will need:
- Bobby pins or Hair Clip
- Buttons, bows, rhinestones, lace, (anything you want to decorate your clip with)
- Permanent Glue (model glue works well. Normal super glue does not stick to metal well).
I loved these clips and have been rocking them all week! I used a few buttons to decorate my clip. If you chose to use a button, you could even sew it into place!
