I prefer dogs anytime – they are so loveable and smart too and can be trained for all sorts of activities.

  2. Bhawana

I love dogs, they are caring and lovable nature creatures. My father used to take care of them a lot. Even for a stray dogs he used to to first aid many time.

  3. DanielleMW

I prefer neither. I did hear a funny joke about the differences between dogs and cats, though: Dogs have owners, Cats have staff. πŸ˜‰

  4. Karee Steinhauser

I used to be a cat person but have found that I am much more of a dog person. I love my boxer dogs..

  5. Carol Douglass

I prefer dogs, but had to adopt my daughter’s cat, and since she is our only “child”, It’s hard not to love her!

  6. Rebecca W

I grew up with cats but I adore the cogs I have now- of course the one that is really mine has some of a cat’s attributes as well as a dogs.

  7. barb johnson

I prefer dogs – so affectionate and loyal. But have had both for pets and every animal has it’s own personality and you love them for who they are not the type they are!

  8. John Werner

Hard to choose, I have two adopted dogs I love and a cat who’s owned me for 17 years. I guess I’d say cats because they’re independent.

  9. Maria Shehan

I love cats and dogs but if I had to pick one it’s a cat. They always love you unconditionally.

  10. Wendy Crowe

I’m definitely a cat girl! I love dogs, but don’t
think I could have one. I love how cats are self sufficient…or how they just think they are…lol

  11. Cathy Derouche

I am an animal lover, I love cats, dogs birds and chinchillas…all of which I own:) I used to own a pet shop until I had to sell it to take care of my disabled husband.

  12. Pat Greco

I love dogs! They are so interactive with people. My daughter’s dog loves coming to our house so he can chase the deer and geese. It’s so funny to watch.

  13. Bethany Becker

I am a cat girl. I have two and they are like my kids. They can sense so much too. They are so playful as kittens and adults. Thanks for the chance to win.

Cats…my sweet cat passed away a few years ago. I’m just happy he was in my life. : )

  15. Jean Snider

I prefer dogs – even the outdoor smells and all. They LOVE so unconditionally. Cats take over and I don’t like the idea of them ON my counters, etc when I’m not around.

  16. Kim McM

I love both, but prefer dogs just a little bit more. Sadly, I am allergic to both and can own neither.

  17. Gwen D

Cats. Our dog is so needed right now. Not that wanting to be next to you al the time is a bad thing.

  18. Kelsey Kunkel

I love both, but if I had to choose between the 2, I would have to pick the dog. Our dog is like a child to us!

  19. Merritt

I love both for different reasons! Since I’m in the city, I prefer Cats because they do their own thing and don’t need to go outside! In the country I would love a doggie to run and play!

  20. DeeDee

Dogs, but I want to come back in my next life as a cat so I can choose my next home and either come when my humans want me or turn around and walk the other way. Home must have large sunny patches that I can sprawl out on. πŸ™‚

  21. Anita Braddock

I had both growing up and loved them both but I loved my cats the best.
I also had my own cat for 17ys before having children then my kids grew up with her and she ended up getting sick and passed. so I miss her everyday.
thanks for the chance to win.

Neither! My theory is that if an animal doesn’t feed me, I don’t need it. Sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, cows…have them all. But no cats or dogs.

  23. Kristina

Dogs, I’m allergic to cats! I also had a husky/malamute mix dog that looked like a wolf.

  24. Kadee

Dogs – of course. They don’t have cat parks while they do have dog parks. Dogs are social and love people.

  25. LouAnne Davis

Dogs. Our dogs are more affectionate and communicate with us.
The cats that I’ve had in the past were so independent! It feels like they are the boss.

  26. Amy Jones

oh now that is hard for me to do. I love all animals. And the animals know it. They always find me wherever I am. I have a close connection with all animals that I sometimes dont even understand. I just know automatically what I need to do it all come natural. My favorite animal is the tiger though so I could say Cats. Thanks for the chance.

  27. Marlene Brazzell

I grew up around dogs; but discovered cats as an adult. The cats I have been around are so lovable, funny and have such great personalities, so I have to say cats are my preference. Thanks for the chance to win pretty papers!

  28. Lisa from Montana

Love them both but adore my cats. Sophisticated and silly, tame but wild, a surprise every moment.

  29. Lori

Definitely cats! I just adopted a new kitten in January, and she truly is a delight. Constantly into everything, but too funny to stay annoyed with for long. πŸ˜‰

  30. Jenn Yarborough

I’m a cat person normally, but I have a dog! go figure. I like cat’s cause they are easy to litterbox train! no accedents if allergies are to bad to take a cat “out”

  31. MelodyJ

I like both but I have only had a dog so far. Dogs win this round.

I love all animals… Their like people, they all have unique personality’s and quality’s. πŸ™‚

  33. Susanne Gleason

    DOGS…all kinds–I have a Chocolate Lab…”MUDDY” who is my 4th child! Need I say more?! πŸ™‚

Ihave to say I’m a cat – dog kinda gal.
I have my cats (2) & tend to a chiweenie. I’ve owned both cats and dogs all of my life. large dogs & whatever stray cat I’d adopt *I’m not picky* But I must admit now that I’m older then dirt, If I were to get a dog for myself I’d go with the breed just mentioned, or one of the toy, or pocket pal breeds.

I would definitely go with a dog, especially now that I’m a senior citizen. Should the worse happen, and you pass away, and they don’t find you right away, a dog will starve himself while waiting @ your side,
where you become the available meal for a cat, when they run out of food. Morbid, but true. Cats are for your healthy people.

  37. Esther

Cats are for young healthy people. Being a disabled senior citizen I take a dog any time. Should the worse happen, and you leave this world, and it takes a while to be found, dogs will starve themselves when they run out of food while waiting fir you to be found, where you become the meal of the day for cats, when all the cat food is gone, and you’re waiting to be found. Sad, but true !
